Stop buying Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermes, Hilfiger… and the hundreds of other brands that don’t like Us but love Our $$$.

T.I., Kanye, Swiss, and the rest of you Entertainers, that goes for you too. I haven’t heard a single line about T.I.’s own clothing line, AKOO… WTF???!!!

Why do we discount our own products and black businesses/brands, and mark up the worth of products from companies that don’t even Respect Us as consumers?

I thought this was about “bootlegged” products being shown in the videos…I agree that we should boycott the products on the mere fact that these companies have almost begged celebrities to wear (endorse) their products now because hip hop has its hand in the pot it’s wrong?

If this is really about copyrights I understand where they are coming from but if this is about rappers wearing the products in videos I say “Where were you Mr. LV when this rapper spent his money for the porduct? “Hey i got a receipt and I bought it so I’m wearing it in my video that i don’t want LV to watch!”

I also will never buy LV because the minute some fool has 2cents to their name, the buy something LV. Even fools like Lil Wayne and Bow Wow. If that was my company, I’d also be pissed. I don’t want LV because you see all these dirty people wearing it and it looks cheap. Buy Chloe or Chanel. People can’t think for themselves, that’s why they copy. They want to have money so that they can copy someone else. That’s the demise of LV and Gucci. There are other exclusive brands that aren’t everywhere and because people aren’t exposed to it, it doesn’t attract the ‘don’t knows’. Those labels attract their intended markets.

The amazing thing is how black people continue to brag about buying things that they really can’t afford. They either commit felonies and risk imprisonment, or go deep in debt to get these expensive things. Rappers continue to glorify material items and broke people continue to go out and possess these things at all costs. While all of this is going on, the executives of these corporations love our money, but hate our guts. Its incredible how much free advertisement rappers give clothing companies, car companies, and the makers of watches and jewelry.

seemz like all i can do iz smdh..they should be happy someone wants to buy their productz and that they’re in such high demand, regardless of who da hellz demandin it..if i was a designer, high end or not, i’d b happy that i have ppl that are willin to spend all kindz of money 4 my sh!t..damn shame..and i doubt T.I and dem will boycott, cuz wha would they wear?? smh..

I was thinking the same thing! Too many ppl spend way too much time trying to “keep up with the Jones”. Purchasing the latest LV bag, but no lights.. New Jimmy Choo shoes but no baby formula.. new rims for that new benz, but haven’t paid child in months…. damn shame. we can do better and should.

it really amazes me how all of the name brand labels can b**tch about rappers or whomever brandishing their products,but, all of their sh**is being replicated and duplicated by chinese, arabs, and so forth and it seems there’s nothing to be said or done, at least the rappers are making their profits soar and (they)labels, don.t see it all. you hate to play the race card but, damn it’s so obvious…….
