Lil’ Mama – NY, NY, LA, LA feat. Snoop Dogg

If you can put aside the fact that this is Lil’ Mama, who’s out-the-booth antics continue to plague her music, you might actually enjoy this one. Do you think this might the joint to bring her back?

Lloyd – Naked

We really wish Lloyd would have released this song earlier. Because unlike “Cupid” and that yodelling jawn, this actually gets us hyped to hear what else he has on his new album “King Of Hearts”

Dawn Richard – Stuck On Mad

Ignore the heavy duty Dirty Money/Danity Kane-ing going on at the beginning of this song, and you’ve got Dawn continuing to carve her own identity. She’s been doing it quietly for a minute. This may bring her talent to the forefront in a much bigger way.

Boola – Did It All

Producer/Rapper (and possibly singer) Boola has been on our radar since late last year, when he released his “Produced By Boola” series featuring songs with Freeway, Raheem Devaughn, Nicole Wray, Tabi Bonney and a few other big indie names. We’re glad to see he delivers just as well quality-wise on his own joint.

Twista – Pop Off feat. Shawnna

We would like to be more excited about this song and the idea that Twista and Shawnna have a new collaborative project coming out. But they both sound so over it and tired on this jawn… like they really didn’t wanna be there.

BONUS: Marsha Ambrosius – Daddy’s Little Girl

Like she did for Mother’s Day and for her brother’s birthday, Marsha Ambrosius dedicates a song to her Daddy on Father’s Day. Short, sweet but so dope.
