Here is Lindsay Lohan taking a break from her house arrest to eliminate the hate.

At this point, we don’t even think anyone remembers what this campaign was about. So allow us to remind you.

The campaign started in November 2008 after the state of California passed Proposition 8, an amendment to the state constitution to ban same-sex marriages. It’s supposed to be a silent protest symbolizing how Prop 8 has silenced the rights of so many. To date, 13,000 people have posed for the campaign.

We can dig it, speaking out for equality and all’at.

But when your celebrity spokes people include every F-Listed reality show star – from Kim Zolciak and her former lover along with 95% of the cast from all the Bravo “Housewives” shows; to a couple of former “Real & Chance/Flavor Of Love” alums, to every singer trying to make a comeback; to now Lindsay Lohan, who probably is trying to log her photoshoot time as community service – it makes us wonder what the stars are really in it for.

Is this just the new trendy thing to do, or are they really being advocates for marriage equality or whatever in their day-to-day-lives?
