Celebrities and egos go together like Tiger Woods and low-grade White women. These egos tend to erupt into full-on feuds. Sometimes these feuds end in ugly fashion and other times they actually bury the hatchet and make up. Here are some celebrities that took the high road and ended their beef.
Jay-Z and Nas - After a nasty rap battle that birthed the most classic diss track ever made in history, Nas' "Ether," the two took a few years and finally decided to link up. We actually liked music better when they were together than apart, so we're in full support of their reunion.
Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian - They had a yearlong silent treatment - probably over a disagreement about politics and the housing crisis or something equally intelligent - that ended peacefully. That's nice. Now they can get back to the club and have good times.
Ciara and Rihanna - It all started when Ciara mentioned that Rih Rih was giving her the stank eye at the club. Rihanna didn't take too nicely to that and a Twitter feud was born. Of course, they came to their senses (i.e. their PR people knew this was a problem) so they patched things up.
50 Cent and The Game - They were friends, then they beefed, then friends again, then they hated each other. These guys are like Derwin and Melanie. Get it together.
Kobe and Shaq - They hated each other as teammates and Kobe even snitched to the cops that Diesel was chopping down chicks behind Shaunie's back. But time and distance healed all wounds and they seem to be at least cordial these days.
Chris Brown and Odd Future - After a misunderstanding and some fake R&B thuggery, these two patched it up and still tried to act hard. Nobody bought it.
Kid CuDi and Wale - CuDi was wilin' out for a while and Wale was sending subliminal shots. It was the battle of the rappers most people could beat up. And thanks to some communicating, they were able to work things out.
Keri Hilson and Ciara - After Keri sent some shots Ci-Error's way, it looked like were headed towards a battle of skinny, kind of hoe-y singers. But that wasn't to be when they cooled their jets and went their separate ways.
Brandy and Monica - They pretended to hate each other in a video, then they kind of actually hated each other. After a few years, they were able to come together. Of course, they probably aren't making any more music together but is that a bad thing?
Oprah and Whoopi - The former Colored Purple co-stars had a falling out that seemed to be about...nothing. They recently had a moment together on one of Oprah's last shows where they cleared the air. We kind of wanted to see them reenact some scenes from the movie, but that didn't happen. Just once Oprah should give us a "you tolllld Harpo to beat me?!"
