It’s raining sunshine for Jill Scott, who just landed her first number one albumdebut on the Billboard 200 chart with her fourth album The Light Of The Sun!!! It’s gotta feel good to open in that top spot, especially after a lil break from the spotlight.

The release sold 135,000 copies, squeezing past Bon Iver’s album (which 105,000 folks picked up in the last week) and keeping Adele’s project 21, at bay in the number three spot.

That’s a tough battle too cuz we can’t deny we stay bumping that Adele at the office and in the whip. Nothing like riding around the hood with the sound of that big white gul wailing out the sunroof.
