thoughts and many prayers to jen and fam. i just can’t even wrap my mind around how someone could just murder 2 people even though it happens everyday. the heartlessness and callousness is astounding. i hope they find julian unharmed and soon.

My prayers go out to The Hudson Family. Chicago is going through some rough times right now being the highest in the country in homicides. Chicago is still a BEAUTIFUL place to vist and live. Plain and simple, there are not enough men in the black community. There are sooooo many sistas that feel like they will either have to be lonely or with one of the thugs that flood the community. I doubt professional brothas would give J. Hud’s sister a second look. Sistas, it is better to be alone than dead.

If he didn’t have anything to do with it directly, like actually having killed them, it sounds like either he owed somebody a lot of money.

I just saw a similar story a few days ago where a mans family was killed and his grandson kidnapped, because he owed “drug dealers” money.

If it is the case that he owed someone money it would kind of explain why he sold her sisters car without her permission.

Of course I could be wrong, but I’m only saying this because I can’t understand why the person or persons would have kidnapped the child.

Why would she marry him? Easy, she probably had very few other options. The black community is literally flooded with men like this and a lot of women are forced to either be alone or date the only men that are interested in them, the thugs on the corner.

May God Bless Jennifer Hudson and her family during this terrible time, my heart goes out to them. I also pray that sweet little boy is returned unharmed. I love this city-it’s home- but we do not deserve the Olympic bid. Skyrocketing violence, failing schools, bombed out communities on South and West sides. How the hell can we play host to the world (Olympics)but can’t stop senseless murders from happening everyday?

Seeing video of Jhud’s mom on the news…she seemed like such a sweet, shy person…it amost brought tears to my eyes.

Authorities continued to search for the 7-year-old nephew of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson today, a day after her mother and brother were found slain in the mother’s South Side home.

The missing boy, Julian King (right), was the grandson of Hudson’s mother, 57-year-old Darnell Donerson, who along with Hudson’s brother, Jason Hudson, 29, was found fatally shot in the home Friday in the 7000 block of South Yale Avenue. Police Friday night said initial reports indicated the slayings might have been domestic-related.

The victims died of multiple gunshot wounds and their deaths were ruled homicides today, said a spokeswoman for the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The FBI has been called in to help on the possibility that the child has been taken across state lines, Chicago Police spokeswoman Monique Bond said today.

Police believe the murders happened about 11 a.m. and started outside with the gunman firing through the door and striking Hudson’s brother, according to a law-enforcement source. The gunman then entered the house and continued to fire, striking Hudson’s mother when she entered the room. Police have recovered shell casings from the scene.

Police said neighbors heard the shots but didn’t call police because gunfire is commonplace in the neighborhood.

Jennifer Hudson had been trying to convince her family to move out of Englewood, the source said, but they wanted to continue living in the neighborhood

Cook County court records show Balfour pleaded guilty in 1999 to attempted murder and vehicular hijacking. He also was convicted in a 1998 case of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, records show.

Balfour was released from the Illinois River Correctional Center in Canton in May 2006 after serving seven years in prison. He is still on parole, state records show.

An Amber Alert issued for Julian King Friday had named Balfour as a suspect in the slayings.

The alert remained in effect this morning. King is described as 4-foot-11 and weighing 130 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair and was last seen wearing a striped polo shirt and khaki pants.

Balfour’s mother said her son and Julia Hudson were separated and that Donerson had thrown him out of the family home last winter. While standing outside the Wentworth Area police station Friday night with Rev. Jesse Jackson, Michele Balfour denied that her son had anything to do with the slayings.

Why would that dumb ass mention Jennifer Hudson being his sister-in-law and then tell people not to ask about her. He could have just left it unsaid. That child was definitely left behind!

I think this is a kidnapped plot gone wrong. I think that he was maybe going to try and kidnapp the little boy but someone recognized whom ever it was and they killed the mother and the uncle. I was thinking the same thing. Why did Jhud’s sister marry this obvious felon. Sounds like it was that fat girl syndrome. When a fat girl has low self esteem and will be with anybody that even pays her even a little bit of attention. Julia and William Balfour is an obvious case of that syndrome.

Everyone wants to focus on the woman’s weight collating that with her dating thugs. I don’t consider myself better than other people, it’s just that I want different things from life than what they do. I am also willing to earn it not take it. Most thugs take things and they don’t give things. The choice is yours.

They need to pop off ALL THE THUGS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES!!!

1) Does not have a legal job.

2) Only assets are on his body and in his car.

3) Have low-self esteem

4) Cant hold an intelligent conversation

5) Have more than 1 kid, and more than 1 baby mama.

6) Lies all the time (dont know how to tell the truth)

7) Dont have any goals, except to make the next corny CD to add on top of the rest)

8) Dont have their own style; they copy other artists

9) Only talent is Basketball and/or Football

10) Dont read anything thats not a label.
