SMH: Casey Anthony’s Parents Believe The Jury Made A “Fair Decision” Despite The Baseless Defense

George and Cindy Anthony

Wait a minute…these are the same people who did NOT believe that Casey Anthony was innocent, and now they are “okay” with the outcome of this trial???

The question of what happened to 2-year-old Caylee Anthony remains unanswered after the jury acquitted her mother, Casey Anthony, on Tuesday. And no one is more aware of that fact than Caylee’s grandparents.

“The family may never know what happened to Caylee Marie Anthony,” George and Cindy Anthony’s lawyer Mark Lippman, said in a statement. “They now have closure for this chapter of their life. They will now begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.”

“Despite the baseless defense chosen by Casey Anthony, the family believes that the jury made a fair decision based on the evidence presented, the testimony presented, the scientific information presented, and the rules that they were given by the Honorable Judge Perry to guide them,” the statement continued. During the trial, George Anthony was a target of his daughter’s defense, which accused him of both molesting Casey and having an affair with a woman who helped search for Caylee. (He denied the affair and the judge disallowed further mention of sexual abuse, saying it wasn’t proven.)

Cindy Anthony, however, was a key defense witness, taking credit for computer searches for chloroform and other apparently incriminating terms and also providing an explanation for how Caylee could have gotten into the family pool and drowned as the defense theorized.

In their statement, Casey Anthony’s parents concluded with their hopes for members of the public who want to honor Caylee.

GTFOH. Do you agree with the Anthony’s decision to move on with their lives??

I don’t know why anyone is surprised she got off.

They know she did it that’s why they said fair and not that she was innocent. They had to say something because they wouldn’t get any peace if they didn’t. The fact that they walked out the courtroom after the first verdict was read speaks volumes.

I just hope she doesn’t have anymore kids. If she’s not going to jail for murder, sentence her to a tube tying. I haven’t followed the trial. I heard about it but wasn’t paying attention but i would imagine the grandparents have to move on. Moving on doesn’t mean u forget. I’m sure They will always remember their grandchild. And the parents are saying based on evidence it was a fair decision so the jury did what they thought was best. Its a sad situation. It sounds like this whole family messed up. May this child rip.

So everybody is a prosecutor, so it seems. I’m not sure why people were shocked that she got off. The coroner had no clue how caylee died…. It makes it real difficult to prove that one person murdered another when you can’t prove how that person died. Not to mention, she was facing the death penalty. I personally will not vote guilty unless you can prove, without a doubt that she did kill her child. If that can’t be done then I’m voting not guilty.

So…is she going back home to live with mom and dad, after she accused him of molesting her!

I said on this site months ago that she was not getting convicted.
