Kanye West has rubbed a lot of folks the wrong way — most notably George W. Bush and Taylor Swift — but he at least has an ally in young Justin Bieber who says the rapper and producer is not as much of an abomination of Obama’s nation as people would have you believe.
In an interview with XXL Magazine for their July/August 2011 issue the Biebs spoke very highly of Mr. West.
“I got to be in the studio with him and work with him and see how he works and talk to him—and talk to him as a friend, and not like someone [in] business,” the Biebs said. “He’s not really an a*shole, like everyone makes him out to be. I mean, he can, he can do bad things, but he’s really generally a good guy.”
“He can make bad decisions, you know, as well as everyone can,” he added, “but generally I think he is a good guy.”
Wait — why is XXL interviewing Justin Bieber again? Aren’t they supposed to be a rap magazine?
