Anthony Mackie…a man’s man

“The Hurt Locker” star Anthony Mackie created brand-new Brooklyn watering hole NoBar with his own two hands. Mackie, an accomplished carpenter, says he built everything in his New Orleans-inspired pub “except for the chairs.” The pub will open tonight with a kickoff party and serve beer, wine, cocktails and food such as red beans and rice and jerk chicken wings. “I wanted a nice local spot where I could relax, play pool or watch a game and get a beer for $5, so I just decided to open one,” Mackie told us.

Sounds like a nice lil spot. We might have to make a trip there and bring you guys an official Bossip food review. Whatup Ant?!

We’re sure there are a lot of ladies that are glad to know that homie is nice with his hands…
