Boosie may be in jail but his legacy is taking a turn for the better with his daughter’s musical endeavors.
Iviona Hatch is just nine, but she’s joined the “U Hatin?” campaign to challenge people to look inside themselves and see if they have negative traits like jealousy and envy. Ironically, she heard about the program through her father, who’s in jail related to a string of homicides.
Iviona is taking her message to schools and various programs promoting high self-esteem: “Iviona’s songs are about having high self-esteem, getting a good education, listening to your parents and believing in your dreams,” said the press release. “She does all of this through entertaining rhymes and story telling with the same swag as her daddy.”
Look out for her first single, “So Hot” to heat up the New Orleans streets soon. Glad to see that Iviona is carrying on.
