Ahmed Evans (CQ), originally from Brooklyn, in his new home in Philadelphia. As a result of a gunshot wound from a police officer, Evans is a paraplegic. In 2008, Evans hid under a van while police officers chased him. They cornered him, he said, and one officer shot him in the shoulder while he lay beneath the van.
