August 25 marks the ten year anniversary of the fatal plane crash that claimed the lives of Aaliyah Dana Haughton and eight others.
And BET is jumping ahead of the “Tribute” curve. Late last month, the network tweeted this:
“Aaliyah: One In A Million” will air on the 25th at 8pm and will feature commentary from Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Damon Dash, Nadine Ellis, Patti Labelle, Kelly Rowland and more. The special is part of BET’s “25 Days Of Aaliyah,” which, since Auguts 1, has brought BET viewers exclusive photos, quotes, featured music and more
Aaliyah was 22 when she died.
