You gotta love these “McDowell’s” versions of real life events the SVU writers keep feeding us.

The season premiere of crime drama “Law & Order: SVU” will feature a fictional tale of an Italian dignitary accused of rape — ripping the Dominique Strauss-Kahn drama straight from the headlines, the New York Post reported Friday.

NBC has cast Franco Nero, 69, who played the chief bad guy Gen. Esperanza in “Die Hard 2,” as the Strauss-Kahn knockoff, according to TV Guide.

How much do these writers get paid for episode again? SMH.
