El Debarge Popped For Rocks… Again

El Debarge was caught with Rocks again:
The “original” falsetto king El DeBarge is serving time behind bars following an encounter with police in Los Angeles. According to reports, the former DeBarge frontman was charged with possession of a controlled substance, after he was arrested on Monday the 27th of this month. The incident marks another setback for DeBarge, born Patrick Eldra DeBarge, who was arrested and jailed earlier this month after two warrants for his arrest were discovered by authorities. The singer was charged with several offenses last year, including vandalism, drugs and domestic violence.
El Debarge has been smoking rocks since the early 80’s while pimping and slappin ho’s. The 47yr old still hangs out in Compton hoods performing with DJ Quick, and we knew this was imminent. This explains one of his greatest songs, I Like It.
Update, El Debarge sent to 2 yrs in the bing about a hr ago. Poor Debarge will be doing a couple bullets, we guess, Time Will Reveal, if he can shake that rock.

I hate to bust ya bubble but “boop!” (busting it anyways…) that is El and he has been on crack for years. That family have gone through so much after their success years ago that some of them just could not recover.

yeah and I heard a few of you mention chico the younger (cuter one) well he was addicted to heroin for a while and is in recovery almost their whole family has been plagued with drug abuse it is sad.
I agree, he’s way too old to be fooling around with drugs. Didn’t his family learn anything when they lost their brother Bobby due to drugs? He needs to be on Celebrity Rehab just as much as Rodney King does. There must be a family history of drugs that goes back generations. That’s too bad because they were so talanted and made the best songs.

Chico gave a very detailed interview to Sister to Sister a few years back. He talked about his brother Bobby (from Switch) being a herion addict before he was with the group. The group knew of his addiction but could not p***** up that voice. He stop & started again with the decline of Switch. He later died of AIDS in the mid 90’s. Chico talked about how his father molested Bobby & a few others. That is the reason so many fell into drug abuse. Sister 2 Sister even contacted their father & of co***** he denied it. The Debarges have deep emotional issues. I am waiting on BET to do something about their life story. It’s been said that El has 10-12 kids.

Oh I thought Bobby died of drugs but I guess it was drug related w/the heroin. I guess El was so fine back then a lot of women wanted to have his babies. That is one messed up family more messed up than the Jackson’s. Even Janet couldn’t handle it.

The family and the mother admitted in an interview for a magazine that most of the 10 kids were sexually abused by there white daddy. The mother believes 6 or 7 out of the 10 kids were molested and most of the victims were the boys of the family. El never admitted it but his mother and bothers believe he was.

As a fellow human, my heart goes out to El and the whole Debarge family. As a result of this article, I did some research of the history of the family and was mildly surprised that most of the kids eventually suffered from some kind of drug addiction…even Bunny!
Mama Debarge recently wrote a autobiography that I would like to read. I am well aware that drugs are wrong but I also am aware that drug addiction is NO joke. The members of this family was given a raw deal from the very start due to parental abuse and no matter how much money and fame they enjoyed, the pain and hurt of their childhood plagued them all of their lives.
I truly hope El is able to get back into recovery and quit fighting against himself
