The Rock may have left wrestling…kind of, but he’s still involved in the wrestling world.
The Rock and Jerry Bruckheimer are going to co-produce a drama set in the 1980s, what is commonly referred to as the golden era of wrestling. Not much is known about the drama, but it will probably be loosely based on the WWE during that time period. We know that Rock’s dad wrestled then, but we don’t know if he will play his father or if he’ll even be acting in the show.
Stay tuned for details, but it’s good to see The Rock trying his hand at being a major Hollywood exec instead of just acting.
