What is up with the gorilla comments? Isn’t this a black website? Why are Black people calling other Black people gorilla, monkey etc. like the racist white man used to do back in the day? This is why so many lost Blacks feel that darker skin is ugly…we don’t have very many media outlets so the ones we do have should NOT perpetuate the racial slurs and stereotypes of the ignorant people who oppressed so many Black people…this is just sad.

I may be in the minority here, but I think Tameka is a pretty lady. Nice smile, nice complexion, nice weave or whatever. Folks act like because Chili has long hair….with that dumb baby hair swag, that she automatically qualifies as beautiful. Hair may be the crowning glory, but that can mean a short hair cut, dreads or locs, and even an afro. Too much emphasis is placed on the definition of beauty being either long hair or light skin. Get over it.
