This deranged looking felon doesn’t have many friends, but cops are still trying to figure out if it was indeed him and whether or not someone assisted him in these heinous killings:
Although Chicago police have only one known suspect in the slayings of three relatives of actress Jennifer Hudson, some evidence suggests that more than one person may have been involved, law-enforcement sources said today. Investigators have focused on suspect William Balfour’s movements on Friday, the day of the murders, as well as his conflicts with his estranged wife, Julia Hudson, and other members of the family. They are trying to determine whether another person drove Balfour to the West Side after the killings at the Hudsons’ South Side home, sources said. Witnesses said Balfour drove his teal Chrysler to the Hudsons’ block Friday, arriving about 7 a.m. But later the vehicle was discovered by police parked about a mile away outside Robeson High School. Balfour’s girlfriend told police that he was at her West Side home not long after the slayings of Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and the Oscar-winning actress’ brother, Jason, at their Englewood home, sources said. Security video at the South Side high school showed someone parking the Chrysler on Friday, but investigators have not been able to determine the person’s identity from the images, the sources said. A time stamp on the video showed the car was left there at 12:30 p.m. Friday, but it was unclear whether the stamp was accurate, sources said. Meanwhile, cell phone records placed Balfour on the West Side at that hour, sources said. If the time stamp is accurate, it would suggest another person may have driven the Chrysler from the Hudson home to Robeson, sources said. In any event, Balfour did not use his own car to travel from the Hudson’s Englewood house to his girlfriend’s home near 19th Street and Spaulding Avenue on the West Side, police said.
Convincing someone to help murder a child is unreal. Who ever did this should be boiled alive.

William Balfour has NOT been charged with any crime. He’s just being held. Until he has been charged and sentenced, Bossip is in the wrong. Bossip should be sued.

this is so horrible — but after listening to the suspect’s mother last night — and yes she is ghetto ignorant crazy — but, she was makin’ sense. I am going to wait — we haven’t heard the whole truth. I am not impressed that he missed his parole mtg. on Fri. He probably has missed the past 35 Fridays; they ain’t checkin’ for him or any of them down at parole. Balfours mom said that Jason Hudson sold drugs out the home, William was locked up when the SUV showed up with poor little julian inside, Julian had been dead for only 6-8 hours? So William Balfour couldn’t have killed him right? Or park the SUV in that neighborhood right? He was in police custody? What if Jason Hudson was really selling drugs? Maybe he owed someone or done someone dirty, they came to his crib, killed him and his momma and took the little boy as the eye witness, killed him… meanwhile this other ignorant fool is sittin in jail not even charged yet? This entire ordeal is suspect to me, but I think we all have to look at all the angels? do you think William Balfour disliked Julia so much to do that to her family? The media may be jumping the gun, but I strongly believe he did it. He was put out of the house, he had a violent criminal history and he is a worthless piece of crap. I hope he rots in hell. I am so sorry for Jennifer Hudson, she lost a lot, but I know her faith & strength will get her through. As far as privacy goes, I think considering she is a celebrity, the public is giving her the privacy she needs, but this shows her that a lot of people out there in the public is praying for her and wishing her the best. I’m not going to be so quick to rush to judgement on Balfour. Like some of the other posters I feel like if it was that cut and dry the cops would have charged him by now. I can’t see him being that careful as to allude the police all this time. The murderer may have had help, and trust the cops know way more than they are telling. I’m falling back on this until I see more evidence.

Personally, I dont think that Balfour did this. I think he knows who did it, and I think Julia knows too. Or at least she knows ALOT more than she is saying. And sources say Jen is not talking to her just for that reason. So if thats the case, technically they both can say they didnt do it. But Balfour looks sad on the pics they have been showing. truly sad. i hope the details and answers to this case comes out sooner than later. I don’t like this worthless piece of ish Balfour, but I don’t think he has been proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and I along with Da Truff, don’t think he should be the reason for vigilanteism. As despicable as the facts in this case are, we cannot allow low-lifes to bring us back to the days of the noose.
I just want to send all my prayers to the Hudson family and friends.. I pray that the case is closed asap and that it brings all of you closer. Whether or not William killed these people doesn’t change the fact that he was out on bond from stealing a car when he stole the truck and drove around like a madman trying to “dislodge” the owner from his own vehicle. He should have been charged with attempted murder and anything else that they could stick on him because he appartently thought it was ok to continue stealing cars after being caught with the first one. The individual has “anger management” issues and treatment for this was a part of his parole. He was 18 years old when he went to jail and spent almost 7 years there. He was released in April and Julia married this waste of life 5-6 months later. What could she have possibly been thinking? But she did say that “she was more like a brother” to Julian and that her mother did pretty much everything for the child. In reading her “my*****e” page, it is clear that she wasn’t the most intelligent and the fact that (as of last night), she still has her husband’s picture as her #3 friend is definite evidence of this. As parents, we are responsible for the protection and well being of our child(ren). Julia did not act responsible in letting this piece of s***** into her world. No human being should be more important to you than your child. Julian was an innocent child. Jason (the uncle) did sell drugs out of that home. I would *****ume that the grandmother is not stupid, and therefore she had to have known this. So, while I personally believe that William is most certainly involved, I also believe that there is much more to this story. And I believe that it’s not going to take very long before the police bring everything out in the open.

I saw this on a news site this morning. i’m not sure where though girl. i was scannin sites this morning trying to get more info on it. i was so sad to hear that. cuz if its true, he was alive on fri, sat and sun and heard his fam was dead. po baby, po po baby.
There are now reports from the neighbors around where the truck was found, that the truck had been there since Friday, some say Saturday. It is my belief that Julian was shot fairly soon after he was taken from the home. The gentlemen that had his wife call the police said that he had noticed the vehicle on Saturday – so Julian was most certainly dead more than 6 hours.
THIS SITUATION MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!..I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL SOMEONE IS CHARGED AND PUT AWAY FOR THIS CRIME…JUST THINKING ABOUT POOR LIL JULIAN BREAKS MY HEART SO MUCH!

I caught most of Balfour’s mother’s interview last night with Nancy Grace, and she had some ugly things to say, IMO. The below excerpts are from the show transcript:

BALFOUR: My son`s alibi was with one of his girlfriends, OK, one of the girls that he`s dating. They are — Julia and William were separated, but they were still together. Do you understand what I`m saying?

BALFOUR: They weren`t on a — William was not raised to disrespect no one, so he left the home. He wasn`t kicked out. He wasn`t put out. Julia wanted William back. (INAUDIBLE) Julia felt that William was a threat, don`t you think she would have put a restraining order on him?

When the police went back over to the car, they searched the car and they found some drugs in the car. This is what I`m going to tell you. They arrested my son, impounded his car, OK?
They had no probable cause for searching that car. That`s why the charges were dropped. William said the police put the drugs in there. I told him it wasn`t the police, it was Julia.
GRACE: So you believe that Julia…
BALFOUR: There was no way — yes, I told my son it was Julia that did this because she was upset because William had started dating another girl. So it`s always two sides of the story.

Police recovered a gun today in an alley near where Jennifer Hudson’s nephew was found shot to death inside a sport-utility vehicle on the West Side.
It was not immediately known whether the gun was used in the killings of Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew. Earlier today, police sent about 100 personnel to the area near 13th Street and Kolin Avenue to search for evidence. The handgun was found in an alleyway about a block from where the vehicle was parked along the street.
All three victims were shot to death. Her 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, was shot twice in the head with a .45-caliber weapon, the same caliber used in the murders of his uncle and grandmother, law enforcement sources said.
Officers blocked off the alley after the discovery and a forensic services team was sent to recover the weapon. Police had no immediate comment.

Both men allegedly sold crack cocaine to a registered informant. Cops then raided the very home where Jason was murdered last week. According to do*****ents, Jason, Gregory and Julia (Jennifer’s sister) were all arrested.
Julia was never charged with a crime. Jason was charged with cocaine trafficking, but the main count was dismissed in 2004 because the judge ruled police conducted an illegal search. During that hearing, Jennifer’s mom had to choose whether to go to Hollywood to watch her daughter on “American Idol” or be in court…she chose the latter.
Gregory was convicted. Jason agreed to enroll in a drug abuse program and the less serious remaining charge was dismissed.
Cops say Jason and Gregory were affiliated with the gang, Gangster Disciples. That’s the same gang that William Balfour, the “person of interest” was in. The lawyer who repped Jason told TMZ cops often jumped to conclusions and *****umed people in that neighborhood were gang members.

I have 2 theories. One surrounds Julia, the other, Jason. For those of you who have blinders on and want to treat Julia like the innocent victim- fine with me. However, as far as I’m concerned there were three victims and they’re no longer here to tell their stories. The most defenseless victim, Julian, a poor little 7 year old boy who suffered the most unimaginable fate, witnessed the brutal killings of his grandmother and uncle before being shot twice in the head. We must fight for this child and if this means by exposing his mother- then so be it. I come from a realistic world where unfortunately, mothers sometimes murder their children or contribute to their demise. This is my opinion and if you’re one of those people who live in untainted worlds, I ask you to move to the next post because this will probably upset you.
Theory 1: Julia Hudson’s Involvement
There are too many holes in this story:
1)The body of Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson was found by Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia around 2:45 PM Friday. Julia called 911 to report the shooting. She also reported her 7-year-old son missing. Police arriving on the scene found Hudson’s brother Jason shot to death in a bedroom.- okay I got this from CNN. My question is how could she report her son missing if she never went through the house? She claimed to have walked in the door, and after seeing her mother’s body in the living room, left out the house and called 911. She then went to the police station to report Julian missing. How did she know he was missing and not hiding in the house or somewhere murdered in the home? Apparently, the police discovered her brother’s body- she did not. As I said, she only made it to the front door.
2)Friday was a teacher’s work day in Chicago. Therefore, children did not report. Julia is a school bus driver. Why was she working then? If her son didn’t have school, she shouldn’t have had to work. All Chicago schools are basically charter schools. Another caveat: How did she get home if Jason was her ride?
3)Police have stated that Jason Hudson was shot when the gunman shot through the front door. He also received defensive wounds. However, his body was found in an upstairs bedroom. If you’ve seen a picture of him- he was no small guy. William, a man of small stature, could not have taken him upstairs alone. If Jason was shot in the thigh, he would have needed a very large person to help him upstairs. I always wondered in that type of area, shouldn’t they have a gun in the home?
4)Shell casings were found in Julian King’s bedroom, yet police are saying he was killed in the SUV.
5) The small bullet only went through the wooden door, so the door should have still been locked. How did the killer get in? If he shot at the door first, who in their right mind would have opened it for him?
6)Why didn’t they come at night when most murders occur? The whole family would’ve been there, and they could’ve killed everyone.
7)Sure, the police could’ve been monitoring Julia’s My*****e, but I doubt it. This is more along the lines of the FBI and they didn’t jump aboard until late Saturday. I’m sorry, but I just can’t imagine with your mother and brother being tragically killed, and your son missing, the last thing I’d be thinking about is the damn computer. And if it was her on the computer, and William was a suspect, why did she keep him as her #2 friend? His *ss would’ve been gone with a quickness. Why did she feel the need to explain her actions on My*****e yesterday? Why has she been seeking support from her fans on My*****e when I’m sure she’s surrounded by family and friends who love her? I’m sure her closest friends/family know how to reach her. Is she enjoying her newly found celebrity status? To live in the shadows of a famous little sister. All eyes are on you now Julia. A word of advice- ask Jen for some acting lessons- your performance to date isn’t Oscar worthy. My little cousin was gunned down a few years ago in Detroit and my Aunt joined a support group for grieving mothers. She said during her meeting yesterday, the women unanimously agreed that something wasn’t right about Julia Hudson- even the grief counselor said that she’s exhibiting questionable behavior for a grieving mother.
8)Her appearance at the press conference was a little too calm and collected for me. Her hair was fly, she looked pretty well-rested, and she said Julian was more “like a little brother?”
9)On Friday night when Julian was missing, why was she on My*****e instead of in someone’s car driving around the city looking for the white Suburban? The first 48 hours are the most crucial with missing children, and you’re chilling on the computer? WTF?
I pray that I’m wrong. Lord, I do. I just can’t imagine a mother being involved in something like this, which is why I’ve held back on posting this. But something isn’t adding up. If they had something on William, they would’ve charged him. I think they’re trying to get William on technicalities.
Theory 2: Jason Hudson’s Involvement
Jason Hudson has had a few run ins with the law. Perhaps he owed some people some money and they were coming after him. I’m not sure what Ms. Donnerson’s schedule would’ve been like on a regular school day and what time Julian went to school. Maybe she normally took him to school, and didn’t come home from dropping him off until around 9:30. If the killers had been watching the house all week, and noticed this pattern, maybe they didn’t expect to find Mrs. Donnerson and Julian there on Friday. I mean, it wasn’t like it was a major holiday. This would’ve explained a few things:
1)Why Jason went from being shot downstairs to going upstairs in his bedroom. Did he have something in his bedroom that the killers wanted? Otherwise, why did they let him walk upstairs instead of shooting him in cold blood like they did his mother?
2)They weren’t expecting to see Julian. I think this may have really posed a problem for them as they struggled with what to do with him and the person couldn’t bear to kill a 7 year old kid. I mean, they had enough heart not to kill the dog- but then again the dog can’t talk. Whoever killed Jason and his mother probably didn’t kill Julian- they got someone else to.
The sad thing is, this poor boy witnessed the murder and became a liability.

Okay, maybe I watch too many cop shows, but when they have situations like this, I do believe it’s called something like “planting alibi’s” or something to that affect. Julia put that picture on her my*****e page for a reason. She could have just as easily said, “william stole my car, so my brother has to drive me to / from work.” Why go to the extent of putting up a picture. As my daughters would say, “Who does that?”
And like you said, if the brother had to drive her to / from work, how the hell was she getting around all that day?

For wages to be garnished, there had to have been a court order, correct? and for there to have been a court order, this had to have been going on for a long time, correct?
ALSO her job is supposed to inform her BEFORE the garnishment that her wages are being garnished. It is not supposed to be sprung on a person out of the blue.
Not only that, but (again) how the hell is she responsible for payments on a car which has been sold?
NOTHING about that situation makes sense. Something is dreadfully, dreadfully wrong — and it begins with them not knowing what their rights are, and ends with there’s a hell of a lot of stuff missing from this story.
As for the brother, I don’t really care if he was selling rock in the past with the father of Julian. What I am worried about is whether the brother had continued to sell rock — and whether Julian’s father had also continued to sell rock.
Why, oh, why didn’t Jennifer’s mother take Jennifer up on moving out of that horrible neighborhood? particularly because a child was involved. Julian needed to be moved out of that situation a long time ago. But now he can’t be, because he’s dead.

More than likely the car being sold by William and payment demands from the bank are what sparked the whole “Domestic Dispute” police are referring to. Yes this is very unfortunate for this family but when is the black community going to wake up. Why would Julia or anyone in this family be surprised something like this happened. When you play with fire you get burned. There is nothing positve about interacting with gang members or convicted felons especially if you have children. Single parents, all parents must start putting their children first and if this is something you cannot do then use birth control or give the child up for adoption. We see violence everyday in the black communities across the country but for some reason we continue to be shocked when something like this happen. The only person I feel sorry for is Julian. Mr. Balfour had violated his parole time and time again and the family chose not to take out a restraining order or contact his good for nothing parole officer. This is not going to stop until parents and family members start turning their backs on relatives that are known criminals and trouble makers that only want to cause harm to those in their own communities. They are nothing but cowards and terrorist holding their communities hostage.
This young man is innocent until he is proven guilty. Everyone has already convicted him which is not right. I personally do not believe he commited this crime and I may be wrong. First of all while Chicago police is just focusig on him they need to look into all the other possibilites like Jason selling drugs from the house. How we know that it wasn’t a drug deal that wrong? How we know that the baby father didn’t commit the crime he’s just getting out of jail for serving time for selling drugs with Jason and all Jason got was rehab?How we know that the other man that Julia was involve with didn’t commit the murder? It’s just so much too look into but everyone is focusing on William Balfour simply because he has a criminal record. I think the man is being framed because everyone knew him and his wife had their share of problems so he would be the first suspect.
Whoever did this the family knew them really well. I don’t think there intentions were to kill the mom or baby Julian. The person went there to target Jason but they had to get rid of the mom because she knew who they was. It doesn’t make any sense at all if the person was going to kill the little boy in the first place they would have did it at the home as well they took the boy off because he meant them well and they thought that he wouldn’t tell. They probably was trying to get him to cooperate in not telling who they was but being a child you already know they going to tell regardless. If William commited these crimes do you think he would be trying to get in touch with his parole officer about missing a meeting? He wouldn’t care about a meeting because he already know his life is at its with ends.Do you think he would have still being lodging around in Chicago? He would have left the state like all other murder suspects. He didn’t run because he didn’t have anything to to hide. Would you do a polygraph test without a lawyer? Absolutely not so why should William? I think Julia knows exactly what’s going on as well. She’s afraid to talk because she doesn’t want the public to know about her input. If I was her I would tell it whether it hurts or not because she has lost three beautiful people. Holding on to evidence isn’t going to bring her love ones back but coming forth will damn sho be a relief for Jennifer and the rest of the family. How we know that Julia didn’t have the man to drop the car off at Roberson school? She supposely said William stole the car but how do we know that it was actually him driving the car Friday morning @ 7:00? Yeah people say the saw a man but how do they know it was him? It’s crazy the neighbors heard shots fired but did not see anything but saw William p*****ing by that morning. I don’t know William but I don’t think he would have been so low and kill her family about a car payment.Julia could have easily picked up the phone and called her famous sister and said Sis I need this. Women need to stop depending on men’s to validate them. It was Julia that invited her estrange husband to cut her birthday cake with her the night before the killings so if he really wanted to kill them he would have got them all that night with Julia being first. I don’t understand how her William was on good terms Thursday and all of a sudden Friday things changed. I believe the person(s) that did this had already called and notified Julia before she got home that they had murdered her mom and brother and had her son for her to know that he wasn’t there. Since she didn’t go all over the house how she didn’t know that Jason hadn’t took Julian for a ride since his truck wasn’t there? It’s so many motives in this case and I think Julia, Jason and Greg played a big role in it. The police need to look into Julian daddy Greg. One thing about what happens in the dark will sure come to the light.
