Brings a whole new meaning “Take it outta your @$$”

Police said Dustin Darsp went to a Shell station in San Antonio around 9:30 p.m. Sunday and attempted to rob the place, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

The 35-year-old was armed with a hammer, which he covered with cloth and pretended it was a gun, police said.

“He carried it as if it was a gun and pointed it at the clerk and the customer,” San Antonio police Det. Roberto Bernal told the newspaper.

What the would-be crook didn’t know, however, was that the customer was a “licensed gun owner,” and was armed with an actual gun.

The thief grabbed a box of K2 – a legally-sold compound also known as “fake weed” – and left the gas station, police said.

The customer followed him outside when Darsp dropped his hammer. When he bent down to pick it up, the unidentified customer fired.

“The robber still wanted the guy to believe he had a gun but ended up dropping it,” Bernal said, adding that the crook was shot “in his left upper buttock.”

To those wondering what will become of the trigger-happy customer…

The customer will not face any charges for the shooting, which according to Texas law, was justified.

“You can use deadly force to protect property and prevent the other’s imminent commission of robbery,” he said. “So he’s covered.”

All’s well that ends well. But usually when you hear about someone “totin’ the steel” it means that they have a REAL gun…SMH
