Chris Johnson has had quite an offseason, it looks like he’s going to be making some bread.
Johnson has been considered the best running back in the league for the last couple of years, and he wanted to get paid like it. The Titans, though, understanding how short a running back’s career is didn’t want to pay top dollar. This led to a nasty standoff between the star and his team.
Well…it looks like they patched things up nicely to the tune of $53.4 million for four years. It’s not Mike Vick money, but it’s damn good. Now Johnson has to get ready to play by next Sunday and get with the team’s program. At least for now, he’s got a ton of money to relax on.
