Fantasia Barrino’s camp has just revealed that she’s expecting a son! Although Fantasia has been consigned to bed rest, she’s still going to come out to celebrate the impending arrival of her new baby.

The singer will be the guest of honor at a baby shower on October 1 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Invitations for the exclusive affair boldly proclaim, “It’s A Boy!”

This will be one of the few occasions that Fantasia will be up and about as she was put on bed rest for five months back in August. According to that timelime, Fantasia and her babydaddy should be welcoming their son at either the end of December or early January.
