Documents released by the state attorney’s office detail what prosecutors say Biannela Susana was doing for hours during the time she waited to seek treatment for her unconscious 2-year-old son, who prosecutors say was beaten to death by his 12-year-old half brother, Cristian Fernandez.
After 2-year-old David Galarriago died, investigators seized two laptops from Susana’s apartment, according to the documents. On the day of the beating, Susanna began searching terms like “when someone gets knocked out” on Google at 10:54 a.m., according to the documents.
The documents show that from 10:54 a.m. to 11:11 a.m., nearly 20 minutes, Susana went to a website about concussions 11 times.
