Mother Kidnaps Her Eight Kids From Foster Care Office

Clearly, this plan wasn’t very well thought out.

28-year-old Shanel Nadal, the 34-year-old man after which she named all seven of her sons and their 8 kids (ages 11 to 11 months) were found in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania a week after Shanel allegedly kidnapped them from a foster care facility in Queens, New York.

Police said in a release early Tuesday that the children — who range in age from 11 months to 11 years old — were in good condition. Their parents, 28-year-old Shanel Nadal and 34-year-old Nephra Payne, were taken into custody in Harrisburg, Pa.
WHP-TV in Harrisburg reports the family was spending the night in a van with no license plate.
The children are in custody of Dauphin County Children and Youth Services.

Police say Nadal was visiting her children at the child agency in Queens on Sept. 19 when she took them.
The couple lost custody of the children in 2009.

The foster mother who has cared for Nadal’s 11-month-old daughter, Nefertiti, since May, said it was clear that Nadal was plotting to take her children away at the first opportunity.

“I guess she was desperate and looked for any opening,’’ said Emanuel.

Nadal texted Amieka Smith, the foster mother of two of her boys, days before the abudction, saying she “cannot live’’ without her children, according to reports at the time.

All jokes aside, we hope this broad gets a chance to get her life together. SMH
