JHud’s Brother May Have Owned the Murder Weapon

In a unexpected twist to a gruesome story that needs nothing more than to be concluded, the New York Post reports that Jennifer Hudson’s brother may have once owned the gun used to slay him and his family members:
Jennifer Hudson’s brother might have once possessed the stolen handgun that cops suspect was used to kill him and two other members of the actress’ family, the Chicago Tribune reported yesterday. The brother, Jason Hudson, 27, told neighbors his weapon was swiped months ago, the Tribune said. Jason was found shot dead along with his mother on Oct. 24. Hudson’s nephew, Julian King, 7, was abducted and found shot to death with a .45-caliber Sig Sauer pistol three days later in an SUV. William “Flex” Balfour, the estranged husband of Jennifer Hudson’s sister, is under arrest.

I think they need to lock Balfour and Julia up until one of em’ squeals on the other. I have a sneaking suspicion that she’s not “innocent” in all of this…….
So now it seems like some premedation is going on. They stole the gun weeks ago with the intent to kill him with his own gun…maybe??

Lets’ see, her brother’s (alleged) gun was stolen and what are the odds that said gun was subsequently used in the murder of the owner, his mother and nephew. If true, karma can be a cruel *****.
That is an ironic twist and to me it incriminates Balfour even more because he had access to the house and stayed there. I believe that while everyone, like myself, will like to believe that Balfour acted in a jealous rage all alone it seems odd. It could be more to Jason Hudson then we know. Like Balfour ghetto a$$ momma mighta been right to say that Jason was into something. I agree that Julia knows more than shes saying because she hasnt yet spoke out agaisnt the man that supposedly did this to her son and he still is one of her top friends on My*****e!!!! The more that comes to light, the more we can see every ones dirt. The only true innocent victim was that sweet little angel Julian, that’s who I mourn for. I don’t mean to sound cold but Julia should have never dated that sorry ***** ***** so she hold a majority of the blame. Jason obviously was not living his life right. Who the hell sells drugs out of the same house where your family including your seven year old nephew lives. That right there says a lot and the mother allowed all of this to go on under her roof. I’m not saying any one of these individuals deserved to die but as the old saying goes live by the sword, die by the sword. Perhaps if there was a little less criminal activity going on this would have never happened. I think they all with the exception of Julian played a role in this tragic event one way or another. I live in Houston, Texas. Harris County puts more ppl to death each year than any other place in the country. If this crime would have took place in Houston William would have already been charged & Julia would be sitting in jail right along with him on some bull***** charge for her role. Down here they will charge the mother too for failing to act to prevent such crimes.

Co-sign. For myself, I don’t think Jennifer was in on any of this because she had the sense to move away from all this, and ask her mama to move away from all this. Her mother chose to stay because she knew everybody in the hood.
It’s too bad, with the new developments coming out, that apparently the Hudson family was involved in something illegal. The only way I can see Jennifer involved in any of this is if someone got it in their head to try to blackmail her or extort some money from her and her family because she’s world-famous now. If her brother was still selling rocks, though, and/or still belonged to the Gangster Disciples along with his sister’s current husband and ex-baby daddy…… this would just be a run-of-the-mill hit.
I guess I’m going to hell because I don’t care about the adults involved in this hit. My vicarious pain is for little Julian. Murdering a child is about one of the worst crimes an alleged human being can commit. This little boy died for his adult family members sins.

From what I read, this gun was a stolen from MI two years. I don’t know when Jason got it. I think he’s the key to all of this. He was running in a gang with William, Julian’s father, got arreasted for selling drugs, and got shot in the leg before, so for me that whole “domestic violence” story the police put out there from the beginning is looking less likely. If William did this, he wasn’t alone, and it wasn’t some kind of revenge to get back at Julia. This sounds drug related. Plain and simple.

The gun thing I don’t know about simply because it was reported as being stolen from a Michigan man two years ago and stolen from Jason two months ago and of course Jason did not report it as being stolen. I wonder did Jason steal it from the man in Michigan?
You notice when Jason first got shot in the leg while living at his apartment he did not report it. I think we all know why. When Jason moved in with his mother to recuperate maybe he was planning on getting revenge on the person(s) who shot him, brought William in on the plan and it all backfired.
As far as the mother letting Jason sell drugs from the house, I don’t believe that. The grandmother loved Jason(according to Julia) too much to allow Julian to live around conditions like that and I don’t believe Mrs. Donnerson would be that type of a woman. IMO, while recuperating at his mother’s house Jason probably did his “deals” out on the streets and was would come back home just to “chill”.
People might have called him on his cell phone and he would get in the car and drive to meet them and make his deals, but I just don’t believe people were coming to the house to get drugs from him and his mother allowed it.
Have they charged the guy yet? How long can they hold somone without charging them? I don’t really understand how this works. Is he being held on other charges?

He’s currently being held on a parole violation. I think the investigators realize there’s something rotten in Denmark, and wants’ to make sure all the “T’s” are crossed and all the “I’s” are dotted before officially charging Balfour.

See this whole thing is bothering me. They have 3 bodies and now a gun and they still haven’t charged dude yet? Something ain’t right with this picture. I definitely think Julia knows more than she is saying and I’m also starting to wonder if this was a drug deal or some other deal gone bad and said killers went on a revenge rampage. Every time new details surface, it shines more light back to that home and possibly the dealings going on there. I mean think about it, why were two grown ***** adults still living with their mama and with a child? At one point, Balfour was staying there too. I guarantee you Julia and the brother didn’t have their act together and mama was carrying the load. Julia herself admitted that the mom was the caregiver of Julian an she was more like a big sister to her own child, WTF? That came out of her mouth. Maybe this is why Jennifer was trying to get her mom to leave. She probably needed to get out of that situation. None of them deserved to lose their lives, but I’m starting to wonder about the brother. I think the mother and Julian were innocent victims who happened to be at the wrong place, wrong time. I think the gunman was coming after the brother and he just took out everyone there. Ok so that’s one theory, seems plausible, but why take Julian away from the scene? That part makes me think it was Balfour, because his murder was personal. I suppose one could argue that he was taken either for ransom initially, but was viewed as an eyewitness and killed. Or if it wasn’t Balfour, it was someone letting Julia know I did this to you, hence the other theories. Regardless, it’s all conspiracy theory and we might not ever know the deal. It’s just sad that whatever went down had to end that way.
I’m kinda laying low on this regarding Julia, but there are a few things I’ve wondered. There was no school that day yet Julia went to work presumably to pick up her paycheck. She then realized it was garnished. Isn’t that something you know BEFORE you get paid? I always thought payroll or your creditor would let you know of a garnishee before it happens. Also why would the killer take the little boy away from the home and not kill him there. Something really stinks about this whole thing. My comments might be irrelevant, but these were just my thoughts.
My heart cries for Jen’s mother and nephew – especially the nephew b/c he was a child. How can someone kill an innocent poor child in cold blood. I agree with the poster above that said there is a special place for people that hurt children. I have no sympathy for them at all.

Regarding the garnishment of Julia’s paycheck, I’m with you on that. You do get a letter or summons from the courts because someone has went to court and filed a judgement against you and they won.
You just don’t pick up your paycheck and discover most of your money has been *****ed. The only way that can happen is if you disregard the letters sent to you.
I have asked myself this question so many times….why was Julian taken and not killed on the spot like the Darnell and Jason only to be killed later on.
My question is what’s taking so long to formally charge Balfour of these crimes. It’s either they don’t have enough evidence and they are trying to build a case; or there’s another person out there who actually did the killings, and maybe Balfour was only an accomplice. Either way, they need to start bringing some closure to this mess.

Unfortunately I think they all knew what was going down (mother included) because she declined to go to the awards with Jennifer because her other kids had been arrested and the trial date was coming up. It seems like they got into something way over their heads and they paid the ultimate price for it.
