Princess RiRi popped up for a shoot for the Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection. She’s a stunning lil’ thing, but boy are we glad that bag is covering any possible appearance of those pancake backs. SMH

Here’s another pic of RiRi showing off her best assets.

black woman for Gucci (beside Naomi Campbell)

I’m really happy to see more blacks being spokesperson for higher end brands. Lord knows that the African American woman surely helps these designer houses stay in business!

  • Butterflygirl

She looks great. Love the bag and the pic. As much money as blacks spend on Gucci its about time they represented.

    Do it RiRi!!!!

  • ATXChick

  • lala#1

She should have her own label and clothe line, I know she would drop it to the public like it is hot!

Having someone dress/ style you and having an actual eye/ talent for style are two different things..

Too many singer/ rappers/ actors wanting to be designers! give me a break.. they did not go to school for it. They have not worked as an assistant and then finally made it as a head designer AFTER putting in 10 yrs of hard work..

It just irritates me when many ppl in the industry feel that b/c they have money they can do or be whatever that want (with no actual talent or experience) and take away from ppl who have actually earned it and went to school and obtained an actual degree in that particular field..

Just my thoughts and speaking what I know..

  • leave it be..(i finally got some jelly beans) enjoying her Harvest bar

    i absolutely loooove her hair!!!!!!!!!

  • Oshie is Hungover

I want that bag! Who’s buying!!??!!

  • blaq

I love this girls style, she may be one of the only celebrities who could have a fashion line I would respect.

  • Tracey

LALA, she also looks GREAT when she is seen walking down the street in her own gear. Sure she hasnt got someone to style her when she is at some chicken joint with Chris…what is with that poor man heart attack food they keep on going for?

RHI used to look off key (boy didnt she look weird on Punk a few years back) but now I think she has grown up and hs an eye for fashion.

Her and Milian are the two best dressed females on the seen.

  • leave it be..(i finally got some jelly beans) enjoying her Harvest bar

    and her outfit….. :)

  • LADY ARCHITECT (DOING BIG THINGS AT 23)

She looks very nice in these pics. I think she should stick with modeling. That is definitely her thing and she can be marketed internationally.

  • msgoodie goodie

    my girl ri ri

this girl never take a bad picture

wowow love her hair lover her dress love the bag

only thing is get some voice lesson and you be arighttttt!!1

  • LADY ARCHITECT (DOING BIG THINGS AT 23)

    Lala,

I feel the point you are making.

  • Sweetie Pie

    Fabulous.

  • lala#1

I agree that she always looks great. But I think she needs to focus on her singing career as oppose to become a “triple threat” like many others and now you are mediocre at 3 or more things as opposed to being great with your original talent…

and it’s not just Rihanna,, there are tons of celebrities who want to sing dance write act.. etc,etc and I am like just chill and commit to one thing; master that skill and then move on… it can’t always be about a paycheck..

  • Sweetie Pie

lala does it irritate you when other designers or people in positions get to where they are because of who they know or who they are related to?

Black people have been shut out for so long and we’re finally breaking into areas that we have not had access to in the past and you’re still complaining.

  • monique

    shes lookin so damn fly!

  • dayg715

she is just stomping beyonce’s tired ass right into the ground. she can’t compete with The Banger That Is Rihanna. this one pic puts all those so-called “high fashion” shots beyonce put out in the past couple of weeks to SHAME. takes notes, camel’s girl. THIS is what you call FIERCE.

  • Da R

poor beyonce. she doesn’t stand a chance in hell with this Dime walking around. much bettert han those clown pictures beyonce’s been taking lately.

  • 2cute4u

She looks really good. Such a fresh face for this ad.

  • bored

That picture is one of many reasons why rihanna is not a fashion model. That pose is done by too many high school graduates (girl) taking their senior pictures only difference is the expensive bag.

Now, say she is cute, but she looks boyish in these pics and someone talks about her but putting others to shame is a no, no here. She always throws people off with the look which is the same, and if I’m seeing right that nose has spread.

Rihanna looks good in others clothes after her stylist has put them together for the week, what would she come out with? a strap here, a strap there. What else can be done to some jeans. Just cause she is cute dont make her a designer. The purse stills the shot anyway. There is nothing here that shouts Model!!

Do you know how much money you can make being a model, a lot so dont you think if she had it she would be one now instead of going through all this? It took little Ms. No Talent to long to reach plat in the states and believe it or not in other places also with the hype of her single records. So instead of putting others down with talent, make this girl go get some some talent..

She is a single artist and a catalog model if she ever gets there.

  • msgoodie goodie

    @bored

    you are turly boring

    cuz you are so pointless

    what are you saying

STFU and stop hating on a young sista

you wish you were in riri shoes

    fcuking pain .

  • Crazy Ass Rodney

Princess RiRi? More like Prince in a damn dress

    Cha’mon people

  • Always Classy

@ lala I’m in the fashion industry so I feel you on your comments. It’s a lot of hard work! But in the real world money talks and it’s all about who you know. She does take really good pictures and models well. As far as style and fashion she prob doesn’t pick her own clothes. So don’t give her to much credit. She just seems to look good in almost everything she wears.

  • http://forsakenorder.com/ Dariana

Well… at the end of the day, that’s the idea: to look good for the viewer/buyer :)

  • http://www.hotmail.com cnn

Even if you dont like Bey pictures she is still ruling… rihanna needs to work her ass triple the time to first get her money back… remember the girl is left with 20k only while Bey is on forbes with lots of bodyguards… rihanna do your thing too work on your vocals, dancing and do some acting and then you will see… remember BEUTY FADES

actually it does irritate me.. No one believes in hard work anymore. We need to set positive examples for the youth, the next generation.

I have the upmost respect for real Black Designers, like Tracey Reese, She has earned the right to be called a fashion designer.

Rihanna did nothing special but take a photo shot ad away from an actual model.

It’s funny how you comment that i am complaining, but i will respect your opinion.

and Always Classy: I am not giving Rihanna anymore credit than she deserves! lol. I am also in the fashion industry. And yes money talks BUT if you don’t have the actual talent money won’t be able to help you.. a few singers already know about that,,, how many times can u revamp your clothing line and hope it sells.

  • Elegance1981

The Bottom Line is the girl is always on point. No she cannot sing but whatever she has on looks good on her. I know she always keeps the public guessing. That’s why it’s interesting to see what she has on. Unlike Beyonce she’s so predictable.

She will always have the same tired ass lace front wig on. No I’m not a fan of either but Rihanna has got the fashion game in the bag.

  • Chocolate Assets(Stans for Fefe Dobson, Yes We Can have real talent)

^^^ Yaeh but arnt they both singers?

So are concerts the new fashion shows now, when i buy a cd i dont buy it for fashion, Im buying it for the music and the talent. I think Rihanna is a a good at what she does, but in the end it’s about the music.

    Breaking new… more important.. R.I.P

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Barack Obama’s ailing grandmother died Monday in Hawaii, a day before Obama was to stand election for the presidency, his campaign announced.

    Madelyn Payne Dunham was 86.

The Democratic presidential candidate announced the news in a joint statement with his sister Maya Soetoro-Ng. The statement said Dunham died peacefully after a battle with cancer.

Obama last saw her on Oct. 23-24 when he took a break from campaigning and flew home to visit her.

“She was the cornerstone of our family, and a woman of extraordinary accomplishment, strength, and humility. She was the person who encouraged and allowed us to take chances,” Obama said in a statement. “She was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and left this world with the knowledge that her impact on all of us was meaningful and enduring. Our debt to her is beyond measure.

The candidate learned of her death Monday morning while he was campaigning in Jacksonville, Florida. He planned to go ahead with campaign appearances.

  • That’s Authentic Creole Baby

who does she think she’s foolin?

  • Sweetie Pie

lala how do you know she did’nt work hard? I have always heard she is a very hard worker. She did not have it as easy as Lindsey Lohan or Paris Hilton. She scraped her way to the top and now she is trying to expand her brand so she can open doors for others. What’s wrong with that?

  • soldiergirl

ON POINT, that’s about all you sista’s can say about this young lady her singing has absolutely not a dam thing to do with this shot and it is a stunning shot, give the girl her props. Cleanse the bad aura, I know some of you on here are older so why are you always downing the young women who come after you be happy for them at least at some point in their lives they can say they at least tried & failed or tried & excelled, and NOTE she did not say she wanted a clothing line a blogger on here suggested she should start one!!!!! Reach one / Teach one people !!!

  • lily

NICE! My friend recommended me a very interesting place ☆☆☆ uniformedkiss.Com☆☆☆ This is an online dating service where uniformed singles can join who are looking for younger unattached people to enjoy their uniformed lifestyle with.

  • anchord mccain don’t care…

she’s representing and has before the Gucci ad… they don’t make us special. We are the creators. Obama knows this, you should know this to.

  • Mischa

    Hannibal, eat McCain’s dick!

Pancake backs? Man rihanna is fine as hell, straight up

  • Davina

    Take notes Beyoncé

Gucci’s creative director, Frida Giannini, says she chose the songstress because of her “strong personality”.

“When we decided to dedicate a full ad campaign, more than just creating products, to really come out and show our commitment to UNICEF, I felt a musician and a beautiful woman was the perfect icon for this campaign.”

  • Don’t mind me

    She is a icon

Look at her. If this is understated class and beauty at a very high standard gorgeous girl

  • Don’t mind me

I’m fighting the urge to drop that hair style like every girl in London

  • sammi gurl

she is so photogenic and that is what people need to model and not only that riri has it all she never look like she is trying hard.

  • lala#1

@ sweetiepie. I think you missed my point.. I never said she was not a hard worker.. Rihanan has worked very hard to get to where she is today with her singing. BUT being a singer and then thinking, “hey let me become an actor or let me become a designer” without putting in the Hard work is what I had the problem with..

For example Queen Latifah has mastered rapping/ singing then she pursued a career in acting which was a great move for her…when she is on scene, i see her as the actress.. I never think ” damn she should stick with singing”….then covergirl, spokes person for various events/ causes. Queen is a triple threat b/c she earned it and worked hard for it every step of the way…

I do hope you have a better understanding of what I meant yesterday…

but anyway,, get out and vote everyone!!! remember if you do not vote, you can not complain!!
