All of those artist u mentioned are good but put them in the place Pac was in. If any of those artist had died at 25 none of them would be known as the best rapper such as Pac has. Think about it. As for what Dre did well the only song Dre produced on Pac’s album was California Luv and maybe 1 or 2 more. That wasn’t even the best song on that album. The album made history but not because of that song but because ppl know Pac is real and what he speaks is too. When a artist starts making songs about all they have and what they can buy then their pawns to the music industry. Rakim is a nice Mc, KRS 1 is Ok, Big Daddy Kane was nice for a min, Nas is still hot and as for Jay Z he made most of his tracks so commercial that you’d have to watch T.V to see and know what he’s talking about. I’m from the east coast and I listen to all types of music but in my opinion no 1 can touch Da Don Tupac. Hands down the best MC. I never said the best Lyricist. That wasn’t his thing. Oh and yes Ice Cube is a good rapper but come on u must be joking if you can ever think that he and Pac can ever be measured on the same pedestal…Get it together….AmorDaDon

Get real! The brother was crazy talented,but by no means was he the BEST to ever get on the mic. He may have been the most passionate,but as a lyricist,There have been many that were on a level much higher than him. Rakim,KRS-1 ,Big daddy Kane,Nas and even Jay-Z were better as far as flow and lyrics. Pac touched a lot of people based on his personality,but his music was never on the same level as some of the other M.C’s i mentioned. A lot of Pac’s songs actually begin to sound the same after awhile. It took Dr.Dre to actually give him a commercially viable album.Pac has been magnified based solely on the way that he died much sore than the way thaty he lived. Ice Cube has been more prolific both as a rapper an as an actor than Pac,but because he’s still living,people don’t view him the same way. Death has a funny way of creating legends.

RIP 2PAC. He is the measuring stick by which all rappers should be measured. Wish he could have lived to see Obama become president. Oh the sh*t he would have written….

Is the election over already?. Where the hell was I?.

As much as I’m all for Barack winning and not purely for the fact that he’s “Black”, but for the change that his Presidency would represent both politically and socially.

I think it’s a big mistake to assume, based on speculation, media coverage or your own desire for him to win, that he’s already won.

He’s the first “Black Man” to ever be an actual viable candidate, so of course there was going to be a great deal of media coverage as far his run was concerned. Being that other than some news organizations, a lot of media and it’s representatives lean towards liberalism. Although what I’ve seen of the way McCain handled his campaign and what he represents does give me much more hope, but it’s not over yet.

for those who don’t know, she grew up around Pac. Therefore, she probably knew him better than anyone commenting about her “using” him. She ain’t in the media more than Beyonce’ so I don’t see how she’s shoving anything down anybody’s throats. And for all the Pac haters, he’s legendary, so get it together and go make history and vote. I don’t feel her dancing in the back seat, but for whoever half-listened to the words, he IS talking about a relationship..duh
