The fine folks at KING Mag have again provided us with high-quality art that is culturally relevant.
What makes a fan favorite? Many attributes can factor into being deemed the people’s choice; a delectable body that’s photographed and worshipped on walls and lockers across the land is one. You can view Melyssa Ford’s body of work to see this. A model who, in this day and age, doles out a heaping helping of video and YouTube clips of her “talents” to whet the appetite gets the people going—word to Chazz Michael Michaels. Rosa Acosta has this on lock. But in the case of our cover girl, Bria Myles, the chocolate girl wonder admits in her interview for our Winter 2011 issue that she doesn’t stay in the public eye for too long.
She drops in and out of our collective consciousness like an ex-girlfriend who only calls for a series of late-night get-rights. And that actually adds to her appeal. Her eye-opening return in Common and Nas’s “Ghetto Dreams” video, in better shape than ever before, only made the public clamor for more of her. Makes sense for her to show why she’s to be wanted before she disappears again, doesn’t it?
Flip through and peep which other classy and intelligent women will appear in the “The Prestigious KING Magazine” issue this month…
