My wait was 3 HOURS in Fort Lauderdale. We got there at 6:30 a.m. They recently moved our precinct to a working class “Joe the Plumber” neighborhood. My sister was like “Oh Lord.” I can honestly tell you that people complained quietly and not one person got out of line. The white people in this district are largely Republicans and Independents. One man told me he was there to show the Republican party that he was fed up with them and Palin could kiss his ass. When he said that about 10 white people in front of us turned and smiled BIG. One woman said the Florida election better not be stolen this year or there would be trouble. We’ll see how this plays out, but white people might actually surprise us this year.

Also, we noticed too that no one was politicking or doing exit polling in this neighborhood (which is near Commercial Blvd. and I-95). The white lady behind me said that they live in an ignored area because the Republicans naturally assume that they are going to blindly follow them. Apparently, not this year.
