So by your logic, a married man should be able to go out and get a prostitute any time he felt like it if prostitution were legal, right? There is actually another reason that prostitution is illegal other than “Men getting their cut and controling women.” It is the fact that it is immoral! For example, if you had a daughter and she decided to quit going to school at 16 and become a prostitute because she felt that she was going to make more money screwing random strangers, how would that make you feel? How bout if she got strung out on drugs and was found dead with a needle in her arm? Had a child and decided she didn’t want it and threw it in a trash can somewhere, and the list goes on. By making it “illegal” it is still the lesser of two evils.

Massage parlors are full of prostitutes. They just call themselves “masseuses.” So there are plenty of opportunities for teen girls to make bucks as prostitutes with little to no interference from the law. Yet, there is no high percentage of high school girls dropping out and getting jobs as escorts and masseuses.

I wish people would stop fantasizing and politicizing sex. Sex is sex…that is it.
