Aisha Tyler is the new full-time co-host on CBS’ daytime talk show, The Talk. Just a few weeks ago, Holly Robinson-Peete was released from her contract along with another member from the crew from the daytime talk show. Aisha initially came in as a guest co-host for a week which now seems like it was really her audition.
The comedian actress, who became the first black actor to land a major role on NBC’s Friends, has talk show hosting experience. She was also one of several guest hosts on CBS’ Late Late Show in the transitional period between Craig Kilborn and Craig Ferguson. Aisha also had a small run as the host of E!’s Talk Soup, and in 2009.
Now sharing the scene with Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood, wonder will Aisha be able to hold it down compared to her past gigs? Honestly though, how many people really watch this show?
