Jesse James was crying for the camera last night. What a fool
Now that we have captured the attention of the world, it’s time for us to step up to the plate and fully support our new President elect. It’s time for us to pull up our damn pants! Put down the guns! Get off the drugs! Get a JOB! Help a brother or a sister in need! And most importantly…PRAY!

Good morning America. Glad to see that you guys have finally woken up from that 8 year long nightmare. Now time to get to work…
No More Excuses for being a minority. Obama did it and he came from humble beginnings.. from a single parent home with no father, being homeless and sleeping in a car, and working his way through college. He had so many strikes against him and could of gone in a negative direction but he persevered. He is now the President of the United States.
PrettyNikki…couldnt have said it better myself.
I’m very proud and honored to have witness such powerful moment in our history! Yes we can!
Obama for the USA, Obama for the world! The Lord is the greatest, God bless him, his family, the USA and the world.
that is a beautiful picture. YES WE DID!!!!!
SPEACHLESS!!!!
JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!
I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN AND I AM ABLE TO SEE THIS HISTORIC MOMENT ALONG WITH MY CHILDREN!!!
Today the world celebrates with you, Barack Obama will put America back on top in the eyes of the world. Already you can feel a change, here in the UK we have had wall to wall coverage because we understand what happens in the US directly affects us here.
YOU have made me proud. All of you who took the time to vote for Barack Hussein Obama.
I put his full name because he should not have to feel shame at bearing an honourable name.
How many of use have sons, nephews and uncles who bear “Muslim” names they should not have to feel less than or different.
It’s a beautiful Morning. THank YOU, EVERYONE, for making this Dream come true. All Obama supporters deserve a pat on the back and what the heck – give McCain supporters a pat on the back, too. I’m sure they knew someone who voted for OBAMA. LOL
Enjoy your DAY – Everyone deserves it and so does OBAMA.
THIS IS TRULY A GREAT TIME IN HISTORY FOR OUR GENERATION. WE HAVE BEEN CONSTANTLY FLOODED WITH NEGATIVITY ON THE NEWS AND FINALLY SOMETHING POSITIVE. EVEN OTHER COUNTRIES WHO NEVER CARED FOR AMERICA OUTSIDE OF TRADE WERE CHEERING THIS MAN ON AND CELEBRATING HIS VICTORY. MAYBE NOW WE CAN GET BACK WITH OUT ALLIES AS WE USE TO BE. ON TOP OF THAT THE BEST PART WAS SEEING BLACK, WHITE, HISPANIC, CHINESE, ETC. HUGGING EACHOTHER AND CRYING TOGETHER TO SHOW THAT THERE IS ROOM TO SUCCEED BEYOND JUST RACE BUT AS HUMANS IN GENERAL.
I am a brit and this means the world to me, to all americans I want to thank you and bless you for what you have done , this is a victory for humanity .. america you guys rock!!!
Do’nt forget to buy a newspaper to keep, this is HISTORY
Do’nt forget to buy a newspaper to keep, this is HISTORY
I am proud of Obama opened oportunities and inspired every race out there
Oshie says: YES WE CAN! Wooooooooooooot!
WILL EVERYBODY PLEASE STOP MAKING ME CRY???
I’m getting all puffy… *****.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I feel the same as you. I work with the public and I am glad I have not had any customers yet(today).
OK, I am back! I had to leave and follow the journey of President Obama! I am so happy, words cannot discribe how I feel! I couldn’t cry, but I was crying on the inside! I love how all races came together, and I think that we are taking a big step forward, by uniting everybody! That is one of the many things that john Mccain couldn’t get, is to bring people together. After 2 wars, a ecnomic crisis, racial division, People got tired of that *****. I don’t care if I see a white man with a black woman vs versa, It should not matter, or anymore to people..Because we are all one! People thought that this was going to be a landslide, but it was more than a landslide, It was like a Volcano..349 vs 156! I wanted Sarah to speak on all the bull***** that she was talking about? I didn’t hear her gradulate Barack Obama. she appeared to me as she was going to cry, boo hoo, I don’t care, If you are woman enough to sling lies, and bull*****, then take the punches!
But I must say that love is beautiful no matter what color you are!
1) Obama and Michelle, black love is beautiful
2)Joe Biden and His lovely wife, they look great
3) OK, I might get thrown under a bus, but:
Sarah and todd palin, as she was looking choked up and like a *****, He was standing by herside at her time of need, and I saw how they looked at each other, and 1% of comp*****ion that I had in my heart for them was ignited! that is it!
Obama, and Michelle, just blew me away! the body posture, language, is unbelievable! when I get married, I want a marriage like that! She is his back bone, and Malia is just like Obama, and Sasha is like Michelle!
and Can we get another round of applause for Joe Biden, after running for president in 88 and again 08, He was tired, and Now President Obama gave him the chance to be in the white house! Love Obama!
thank you!
BU-T-FUL…SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL.
For the first time, my son (16) hung the American Flag on his wall first thing this morning.
I am so THRILLED that the negative comments went in one ear and out the other…today is too beautiful for me to tell folks to KMA!!
I am so so proud of the OBAMAs!!
*applauding*
congratulate! sorry, typing too fast! Please forgive me
This is amazing not only will he bring change to America but to the world,*****ing incredible,go Barack Obama.I cried my eyes.
History
Change is on the horizon
I am still smiling, and the comments are wonderful on here even last night when I was reading I can see that people were overjoyed….
I love this family, I mean you can see their love is genuine and they are not afraid to show it, I think this may be a new era of family examples not just black love I mean divorce rates are going up all the time.
I agree with Ms.. Walls the Biden family is lovely too I read about them and they have a lot of love and respect for each other and are both accomplished which they worked hard for, their daughter is just a little cutie too.
I am Kenyan and mighty glad that Barack Obama is US president for he is an exceptionally brilliant man and America did good to realize that. I also salute the American people for their political and democratic maturity. You are indeed setting the pace.
Despite the bad grammar and the unnecessary vulgarity, I have to say that there are times when this site is intelligent, witty and insightful and your coverage of the Presidential race has been informative and entertaining. Thank you.
let’s us take pride in this moment.
anything can happen….
one love
I love this moment! I love how all of AMERICA is coming together! I am so proud of Obama! I love you all Bossipers!!!!!!
**************YES WE DID********************
this is the first time I felt proud to be american..The sea of colors in Grant Park was amazing.
Brooklyn was extremely happy last night, to say the least…just a wonderful night
Yes we can and YES WE DID!
This is so beautiful! For all of us. And they are such a beautiful family. LOVES THEM!!!!!!
ITS TIME FOR THE CHANGE WE ALL VOTED FOR!!! PUT THE GUNS DOWN!!! ITS TIME FOR CHANGE FOR ALL AMERICANS!!! THIS IS THE TIME FOR PEACE PROSPERITY AND EDUCATION!!!WE ALL HAVE WITNESSED HISTORY!!! PUT THE GUNS DOWN!!!THE TIME IS HERE!!! THE TIME IS NOW!!!STOP THE VIOLENCE!!!STOP HAITING ON YOUR BROTHER AND SISTER!!!STOP THE KILLING!!!REMEMBER DR KING!!! EVERYTHING HE DREAMED IS NOW REALITY!!!PUT THE GUNS DOWN!!! PUT THE GUNS DOWN PUT THE GUNS DOWN!!!
I have one question where is HANNIBAL?
YES WE CAN AND YES WE DID! This is truly GROUND BREAKING!!!!!!
In prayer…God be with this family.
@ ATXChick
I was wondering the same thing. I hope people are easy on him since today is such a wonderful day.
white people say were happy because hes black-damn right-if there greatgrandma was born a slave and if there grandma was in rhe civil rights movements they would be glad to. my skin is no longer my sin!
It’s a beautiful day for all Americans.
now if people can just stop hatin on each other for no reason.
Just think about it folks…. a BLACK family will finally live in the house that the slaves built!
Words can’t express how proud I am right now.
His speech was awesome!!
This is a great picture!!
Our work didn’t stop at the polling places yesterday. Let’s honor our ancestors and this shining moment by volunteering more, cooperating more, voting more, and making America the best it can be under the leadership of President Barack Obama.
Hey HF! *waving*
Can you believe it??
im still crying where is hannibal ha ha ha ha ha go obama we love you and will be praying for you
@HF
Just think about it folks…. a BLACK family will finally live in the house that the slaves built!
Words can’t express how proud I am right now
____________________________________________________
VERY WELL PUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it hit me but it hasn’t really hit me – maybe when he gets the keys to the white house!! or maybe when i see the girls playing double dutch – god i’m so excited i can’t really think
It brought me to tears last night. His speech was so flawless, and I felt so proud of the fact that one day I will be able to tell my children that I was a part of this moment in history. I work for the government, and can y’all believe that some white guys said that they should have the right to resign from their jobs because Obama won??? What??? That is the kind of thing that we stood up against when we voted for President Obama.
It is an amazing feeling to have our first mixed race president. Not only because of his race but because we have a president elect that is intelligent and has the power to bring all Americans together.
YES WE DID!!!!ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE
yea, and the kind of thing 61% of the white vote stood up against too… let’s not forget that.
i’m white, and i voted proudly, and LOUDLY, for Barack Obama!!!!
So please remember, not all white folks feel the way your ignorant co-workers do….
What a beautiful day! Now let’s pray for his continued strength, wisdom, and safety.
They wouldn’t give us our fifty acres and a mule, so we took 50 states and the white house.
Tears of joy, u can’t help but cry for this change that was so badly needed for us as black people and as americans it is now our time to show the world what we are capable of and make this positive change priority for a better future, we have been woken from a long sleep and now it’s our time to shine.
oh, that last post was for Lady D….
Very well put LOVING LIFE and PRETTY NIKKI!!!!!!
VERY WELL PUT!!!!!!!
@ Kimberlee
Not blaming all white people for the few ignorant idiots I work with. I sure as hell give props to the white, latino, and asian communities for supporting our new president. McCains disadvantage was the fact that he didn’t have a wide range of support from all races whereas Obama basically had the new America backing him. It’s sad that the Republican party seems limited to only one main racial and age group. I appreciate every voter, but those few idiots I spoke of, need a reality check.
Not only are we going to have a brilliant President, but lets face it – he is a cutie.
@Nyah – yes he is very cute!
God Bless America!!!
We made change, let’s continue!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO PRESIDENT-ELECT BARACK OBAMA AND VICE-PRESIDENT-ELECT JOE BIDEN!!!!!
WE DID IT!!!!!!
I hope when all the dust settles, we don’t forget this moment. I remember during 911, all the racial, religious, ethnic barriers were dropped and American’s came together – such as was yesterday. It was a beautiful thing to see. I just hope we don’t get complacent and go back to business as usual.
Ok now, here in Hawaii we just finished celebrating at 5am, I wont be going to work today but I will work saturday to make up for it. Now im going to give all of you 6am’s reasons why the deep south, Rkelly, Jesse, Rev Al and movies like “Soul Plane” have no place in America from this point on………
1. Every deep south rapper should feel extra ignorant for making songs like laffy taffy, Its goin’ down, A Bay bay, etc, theres no place for your Stepin’ Fetchit antics anymore.
2. Rick Ross, you were never a Boss, youre a CO who took the stories of inmates you were guarding and used them to get a rap deal, now please keep your shirt on.
3. TI anorexic gun toting snitch, no one with a criminal history like yours only gets a year in jail (of which he’ll only serve 8 mos) Youre so skinny *****s are gonna use you as butt floss, plus you’ll have to “rap” them to sleep every night.
4. Trina, keep your clothes on ho’ youre only attractive to *****s from the deep south and thats the worse weave Ive ever seen.
5. RKelly, youre still a child rapist and like I predicted with Nelly, your ***** will no longer sell because its outdated and juvenile.
6. Ashanti, no more Biggie songs to ruin (One more chance remix) no more career?
7. Nelly, wack from day 1, still wack at day 2567 except this time 6,000,000 other people agree with me, your new ***** went double plastic.
8. Lil Wayne, stop lying you were in that Escalade when 40 glocc and those crips surrounded yall in L.A. you cant be a video “Blood” then come out to where crip and blood started and try to hide, what you should have done is jumped outta the truck, threw some of that sizzurp in his eyes, started rappin’ “I’ll pay you a milli, a milli, a milli to leave me alone”……. nah the way you rap would get you killed outside of the south. best rapper alive, ***** are you crazy?
9. Jesse Jackson, you werent foolin’ anyone with those fake tears, you hate Obama because he’s everything you wished you could be.
10. Rev Al, Why were you at that park? I didnt see anybody accidently drop a check, there were no temporary “perm” salons set up and maybe finally they can stop calling you and Jesse “Black leaders”
11. Puffy, you had nothing to do with Obama getting elected, go sit down somewhere horseface *****.
12. Jay-Z, $0 to $500,000,000 in 12 years, married one of the finest and richest and most talented *****es on earth? keep doing what youre doing “greatest rapper alive”
13. Condoleeza Rice, I have mad respect for you eventhough you were put into a winless situation. Leave office with your head held high.
14. Colin Powell, return as Secretary of State eventhough youre Republican.
15. Oprah Winfrey, Youre worth $3,000,000,000, aint ***** I can say to you except “will you marry me”?
Bossip, can you now please stop posting every ignorant, ugly, F list deep south album release party picture of *****s/niggettes we on the east and west coast never even heard of? We now have a black president so theres no need to showcase what looks like a “Slave Auction” on red carpet.
Love 6am
that picture is priceless
@Its6amhogetout
Elequently put. I loved what you had to say…
I had sent a message on XBOX live to all my gaming friends and I was cheering that my boy Obama won and to all the racist ***** holes out there they can eat a *****! I apologized for being so blunt but that I’m so tired of hearing racist people on the game rant racist remarks and our country is now changing for the better…
OMG you would’ve thought I took these peoples bikes away. All white people responded saying ***** like “I’m white and I voted for Obama because he was a good candidate not because he’s black…” I’m thinking I never once said anything to the fact that I voted for him because he’s black… I just was referring to the racist jerks can shut the help up now. So my question to you Bossipers, why is it that white folks are so quick to say that? Do they think that since I’m a minority that I MUST HAVE voted for Obama because he’s black and not because he was the best candidate? Another person said they were so sick of hearing people call Obama “their boy.” Ummmm WAKE UP CALL… but calling someone “my boy” is a term of endearment do white people think like that is some racial comment? I’m afraid still so many white people just don’t get it. It was all white folks leaving these messages to me. They all were very frustrating to read. It’s NOT like I said “YES THE BLACK MAN WON, WATCH OUT NOW WHITEY” I didn’t say anything close to that. I just said the racist folks can eat a d!ck… Then one of my good girlfriends that I’ve grown up with since 3rd grade and we’re still very close she is a Republican and her mood on her my*****e today said “Hold on to your guns and money, he’s coming for them both” and her mood was mad. I WAS LIKE WTF…
I’m just really bothered by the responses I got from me posting my congrats to Obama. If you didn’t know on line gaming has a lot of racist people that love to call people the “N” word and be saying it hard emphasizing the ER at the end. So many games I would go into and play and have to put up with the racist remarks. I felt vindicated last night when Obama won. Like yea this time has come for a change. No longer will talking like that be okay. I’m multicultural and everyone in my family is a different shade of brown and colors. I’ve experienced racism first hand and not getting seated in a restaurant because of the color of your skin, or getting followed in a store by security because they think you’ll steal or police pulling me over for no reason other then the color of my skin and the people I’m with. When I was in college I had this white dude really say racism no longer exists. I WAS LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME. White people really don’t get how having Obama winning makes us all feel so good. They’ve not experienced the things I have most likely. Obama winning isn’t making me happy because he’s black necessarily (although I’m so damn happy) it’s because our nation’s leader is sensitive, understands and has been there and won’t tolerate the ish that has been going on for so long.
Thanks for letting me vent… damn I am heated.
@ 6am
Well put and 100% co sign that.
@trice
Copied, pasted and being given to my children. Nice summary. Thanks.
Love that photo of a black man embracing his beautiful black woman!!
A big F-U-C-K you to all the haters of black love!! Including SMDH and her goons
PEOPLE… thank you so much for all writing what you did. I posted this without reading all of the positive remarks. I’m letting some people kill my joy. From this second on I won’t give a crap about what those people said to me… You’re right. For the first time I also will hang an American Flag. I will buy a paper to remember this day forever. I’m so happy. My family and I lit fireworks last night and were yelling at 8pm PAC time when our polls closed and we all cried and hugged. My dad was literally running around the house with the camcorder on on arm and the camera on the other. My son was taking pix of the tv. WHAT A GREAT DAY IN AMERICA. I love this country. I’m sooo happy that we have people in other country’s thanking us for chosing him.
I LOVE YOU OBAMA…
@ jahpson,
You do know SMDH is a white man impersonating a black woman right? next time he starts with one of his rants, just ask him about his mother, his father molesting his lil sister and that trailer park where his mother sold herself to black truckers…… thats where the real hate comes from, that always stops him right in his tracks.
Love 6am
co sign on 6am’s *****ysis on what doesnt need to happen anymore.
This is the first time in my life I am proud of America and proud to be an American. It may sound odd but I have a new faith in this country and my people. I was truly inspired to achieve great things from Obama’s speech last night. I love Black People & I love Americans.
@ Trice
thank you for posting that time line. It truly explains the pride in my heart.
Congratulations!!! The first Affirmative Action President!!!
20% of people responding in exit polls admitted that race was the most important factor in their vote and over 60% of that group voted for Obama!!! So, that means Obama got about 12% of his vote soley because of his race, which is more than his margin of victory!!! The polls were wrong, this wasn’t a blowout. Some polls had Obama up by 10% to 12%. It’s looking more like 5% to 6%.
There’s no future for rational thinking people.
God is ao smooth! You never know what God has planned! I didn’t know that there was even an exceptional human being out there, right now, that could take office for America, as President! To all the haters, STOP! wasting your gift of life on hate and biggotry! You are a mortal. Think about the account for your life you will one day be judged from, believe it or not,God, Our Father. listen to OBAMA, CHANGE! OBAMA 2008! STOP THE HATE!
they are truly in love…Michelle must keep it poppin…Go America!!!
They are my new favorite couple.. we can see that they truly love each other
WHERES MY DAMN GRAVIE??????????
…
Hello all,
Alright !!!!! praise the Lord. you can just see God (love) in the midst of this all. A nation who look p*****ed the color of a man skin is only God; these people had to put aside their grandparents and their grandparent parents teachings of racism and hatred to cast that ballot. The idea alone that he well exceeded his opponent proves that when God does something you will know him with such clarity. There are no court battles and counting every little ballot on the next 30 days; only a clear victory as with David in the lion den, The 3 Hebrew boys etc……
Because of God’s magnificent Satan is devastated. Satan roams because he still thinks God can be defeated. He thinks less of God’s people and our abilities to love God therefore do not let the remarks of hatred take place today. Satan will try to convince you TODAY that Obama won because all the Black folks finally voted; ohhh contraire, WE ARE NOT THE MAJOTORITY, so when faced with this today tell your children, coworkers, family members to look that person in the face and know that they are NOT the majority.
Please continue to pray. A praying nation is oh so pleasing to GOD!!!!
I am proud of America!!! we Americans saw the problem & realized what actions needed to be done to fix it. We have a long road ahead of us but now at least we have a qualified president to lead the way!
Folks don’t expect things to happen over night either. We shouldn’t make him out to be the second coming of christ- he can not wlak on water or raise the dead Barack is just a man.
Congrats from the UK!!!I bought ‘The Sun’ and ‘The Times’ to show to my grandkids ha! For the first time the rest of the world were very interested in these elections (obviously the majority hoped for Obama- even most of the newscasters here in London lol)anyway not only will the new President hopefully change and improve your country but has already changed the way other countries see America
..(and it was BAD after Iraq)anyway i wish Obama all the luck in the world- especialy after the honeymoon period dies down..congrats well dun good luck im off to party!x
I bought all the papers…event he racist “Sun” Newspapers….wohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
This is a beautiful thing. A man that has honor , integrity, heart and preservance. The historic meteroic rise of this man is phenomenal and he is truly blessed by God. Young black men look at all that this man has accomplished. And legally. He worked hard and achieve the impossible. And he did it by getting an education, putting education and community service ahead of materialism and boostfulness.
But most importantly,he has achieved this meteroic rise with a Black woman on his arm. One that he truly loves and you can tell is so into her. They make the sexiest couple right now. Because, he makes it obvious that he only wants her. And to that Obama Girl; little girl get a new hobby. It’s not cute, and it’s insulting that you have nothing better to do, or no other means of becoming famous, than to act in such a negative way towards a man that already call you out.
The Civil War was not a war about slavery, it was a war based on economy and the markets. Don’t get it twisted, the Civil War didn’t end slavery.
Yesterday was truly a amazing day. It was also my first time voting. In my 27 years on this planet i have never felt prouder to be a American. My only fear right now that someone somewhere is making that master plan to *****asinate him. Just take our joy away. Does anyone else feel this way ?
Black slaves bulit the *White* house and now a black family will FINALLY get to enjoy living in it!!!!!
I AM SO HAPPY!
And I forgot also bought a paper to remember this day in history..OBAMA/BIDEN
Robert Kennedy stated on May 27, 1968 “Things are moving so fast in race relations a Negro could be president in 40 years. There’s no question about it. In the next 40 years, a Negro can achieve the same position that my brother has. Prejudice exists and probably will continue to, but we have tried to make progress and we are making progress. We are not going to accept the status quo.”
This is what Martin Luther King Jr. died for in 1968………………..YES WE CAN!!!!
Congrats to President Obama and first lady, Mrs. Obama.
I need a woman like Mrs. Obama.
Jesse Jackson, you werent foolin’ anyone with those fake tears, you hate Obama because he’s everything you wished you could be.
I disagree. Jesse marched with M.L. king and was there when he was *****asinated on that blacony. He suffered injustices in this country and I know regardless of how he feels about Barack personally, this is a proud moment in history for most Black people. That is why it was such an emotional time for black people.
@ Unknown,
true jessie was on that balcony when martin was shot, and he spends every day of his life reminding you of it. Jessie and Al are nothing more than “poverty pimps” looking to cash in on a black persons misery.
Heres a 6am quote, Jessie could see the cops murder your ***** on his front lawn, if there isnt an agreement for a percentage of a lawsuit settlement check for his ***** after the lawsuit is settled youre just some dead *****.
Love 6am
I will forever remeber this day for what it is and what it will always be: “The greatest day in not only political history but history on a whole”. Now Bossip & commenter alike feel free to send your hate mail/comments or what have you but I pose this question: “Why are we continually being cl*****ified as only African-Americans when for a majority of us are not even 3rd, 4th, or even 7th generation decendents?” I am not trying to take any glory from this great momnet but I’m tired of media society and anyone else that chimes in and cl*****ifies any race especially Black people!!! You can call me ignorant or whatever lames ***** epithet you’d like but for one I am a Black Hispanic Male who has been through it all. I just wondered when something this magical happens why is it still dampened by being called “..a poignant moment in African American history…” Once again I don’t “hate my skin or the color of it” and other childsih ***** like that I have a little girl that I’m preaching to that don’t judge a person by their skin color but on their merits and character and cl*****, race up bringing, etc shouldn’t matter. I know racism still exist and people will always hate on something they don’t like or understand but I welcome the hate and wish Mr. Obama his wife & children the best. God willing THIS MAN WILL CHANGE THOSE MINDS AND ACTIONS!!!!!
(Random Rant)
We are one country and one world, when we start acting like black America won this, we continue to separate ourselves from the other Americans. Last time, I checked, millions of white, latino, asian, arab,etc went to the polls and vote for Obama, and volunteered, gave millions of dollars to his campaign. So, why black folks are out in the streets dancing and crying, and shouting , remember that our brothers and sisters of a different places put in work.
KISS..LOVES ITS!!!!BLACK LOVE AT IT’S FINEIST!! SO YOU THINK YOUR QUEEN IS A WOMAN FROM ANOTHER RACE, EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!! HE IS BI RACIAL, AND CHOSE A REAL WOMAN, THAT UNDERSTANDS HIS BATTLE!@!!! TAKE A NOTE MY BROTHERS, AND PULL YO PANTS UP!!!
Please please give this man a chance! He will not be able to change everything immediately, it will take time and the help of everyone. Knowing this, the naysayers are lying in wait like snakes on a hot day!
I choked up when he spoke of his wife in his victory speech and they embraced on stage. Our first black president has a black first lady. to all the athletes, CEOs, black professionals: he didn’t need a white woman, he was secure and comfortable in himself as a black man with his black queen.
A beautiful black family that is an expression of love to all people of all creeds, nationalities, races, etc.
I’m sure black people solely voted for Obama based on his policy positions (Yeah, right). If white people voted that strongly for McCain, I am sure that “movement” would be called something else. I am sure white people who propped up the black vote did so, not to be “part of history” and to exorcise the inheritance of a post-colonial guilt complex. You cannot honestly believe that if it were a white man with Obama’s complete lack of accomplishment (and was a member of a racist church and had the *****ociations he had), he would have made it through the primaries. To be FAIR, a three-legged dog could have defeated the Republicans this year. You only had to look at the news anchors and pundits blubbering in their tears to know that America became a far sadder place. A place where AN INDIVIDUAL (not a black man) cannot be judged based on his merits for the position, but only chosen for his genetic ancestry. You people do not see him as a man, who began backpedalling (aka “lying”) in his victory speech about how he’ll need two terms to accomplish what he promised during his campaign would be done with the first 100 days of his presidency. But you’ll give him a p*****. John McCain was a poor candidate as well, but at least he sacrificed himself for his country and knew the true meaning of “honor”, something Obama could never hope to understand. Again, you all voted against Bush as a symbol, and rightfully so. But most people did not register a protest vote against McCain the individual as much as they registered a vote symbolically against the Republican party and Bush. People could not see McCain for the INDIVIDUAL he was, and his record of working across party lines. They were too caught up in the symbolism of Obama. Obama himself even said “t I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripe project their own views”. Become a symbol and you become EVERYTHING to Americans. Well when it comes to the next four years- prepare to be at best, disappointed, and at worst, have your lives fall further into ruin.
And if it were McCain (“the economy is fundamentally sound)/Palin(“I’ll get back to you on what periodicals I read”) we would have our lives ruined at best and WWIII at worst.
Yeah, we all played into the two-party system, but Obama was the better candidate, with the better campaign. Look at the Senate/House/Governor races. The Republican Party was repudiated, decisively.
***** Mcphalin ….. Great kiss !! strong black love is what you have witness….some people thought that black love didn’t exist ……… Thank you folks we will take the white house please and its 51 states…thank you very much!!!!!!!!!
why do people keep bringing up the fact that his wife is black??? so his wife is black…what’s your point? 95 percent of bm marry bw. him marrying a bw isn’t really that special because most bm marry bw anyway.
I,M STILL CRYING!!!! OMG! I DON’T KNOW WHAT! LOOK NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!!!!!!
YEAH, THIS IMAGE OF A BLACK MAN AND HIS BLACK WIFE IS BRILLIANT IMAGE FOR BRITIAN. IN BRITIAN NEARLY ALL THE BLACK STARS OF SPORTS ETC HAS A WHITE WOMAN FOR GIRLFRIEND OR WIFE. IT IS SO REFRESHING SEEING A BLACK WOMAN ON THE ARM OF THE MOST POWERFUL BLACK MAN IN THE WORLD. ‘THE DARKER THE BERRY THE SWEETER THE JUICE’. WOW!!!!WHAT A POSITIVE IMAGE FOR BLACK WOMEN.
i WILL BE EXPRESSING MY FEELINGS THAT I CANT EVEN PUT IN WORDS BUT BY ONLY FACIAL EXPRESSION & BODY LANGUAGE 4 TIMES TO COME!LOL 4REAL YALL IDK! I’M BLANK!& I VOTED FOR HIM!!!!!!!!!!WORDS WILL NEVER EXPRESSS!!!!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!! SHOULD I STOP CUSSING HATERS OUT ONLINE?!?!?!I DON’T NO WHAT 2 DO WHAT MYSELF RIGHT NOW!!!!?????
People who say that the fact that his wife is black really shouldn’t be an issue, really don’t know the plight of little black girls growing up, or the reality of being a black woman in this world. When black females grow up hating their skin tone, features, hair because the world has said that it’s ugly and inferior , of course black women will rejoice when a black President, the most powerful man in the world has a black woman. When he displays his physical and mental attraction to a black woman, of course we will rejoice. When for so long , black girls grew up with the idea that the only thing they had going for them were their big butts. So, of course we will rejoice, when a black man went against the grain and married a black woman who doesn’t look like the average black man’s fantasy or what the world see as a prize, nonblack woman. To full understand the impact of his wife is really sad, just talk to these young black girls, who for the first time, they can see themselves in a woman that looks like them, that isn’t shaking her butt in a video.
@BOHWE. WELL SAID. TO BE A DARK-SKINNED BLACK WOMAN AND GO THROUGH LIFE SUFFERING FROM AN INFERIORITY COMPLEX BECAUSE OF THE SHADE OF YOUR SKIN AND TO ENVY THE SKIN SHADE OF YOUR GENETIC SISTER WHO ARE LIGHTER IS SUCH A BURDEN. FOR THE BLACK MEDIA AND THE MEDIA IN GENERAL TO SCREW YOUR BRAIN UP WITH IMAGES OF LIGHTER SKINNED BLACK WOMEN AND WHITE WOMAN ON THE ARM OF SUCCESSFUL BLACK MEN ONLY INCREASE YOUR FEELING OF INFERIORITY. MY LIFE PARTNER IS A BLACK MAN WHO LOOKS LIKE COLIN POWELL A CONCIOUS CHOICE MADE BY ME TO DILUTE MY SKIN SHADE. SOME OF MY KIDS ARE DARK LIKE ME AND EXTREMELY LIGHT LIKE THEIR DAD. MY EYES ARE DRAWN TO OBAMA’S LITTLE DAUGHTER WHO POSSESS MY SKIN SHADE, IN THE IMAGES I’VE SEEN HOW COMES HER BIG SISTER GETS MORE HUGS FROM DADDY THAN HER?
I HOPE AND PRAY THAT BY MICHELLE OBAMA BEING THE FIRST LADY WILL BRING ABOUT A CHANGE WITHIN EUROPE AND FURTHER AFIELD AND FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD TO EMBRACE THE DARKER SKIN OF THE BLACK FEMALE RACE AND TO YOU’ALL I LOVE MY RACE. HERE IN THE U.K BLACKS ARE TOTALLY CONFUSED THEY ARE NOT TAUGHT BLACK HISTORY IN SCHOOLS SO THE INFERIORITY COMPLEX THAT I’VE SUFFERED WITH IS NOT UNUSUAL IN EUROPE.
