Adele’s gotta get that voice that’s earned her millions together.

Adele, the British soul singer who has dominated the music charts in the United States and Britain all year with her album “21” (XL/Columbia), will undergo surgery to repair her vocal cords and has canceled her scheduled concerts for the rest of the year, Columbia Records announced.

The singer has been plagued with medical problems related to her voice. Early this month she canceled a tour of several American cities – the second time during the year she had been forced to cancel concerts here — saying she had suffered a hemorrhage near her vocal cords and had been ordered to take an extended rest.

But on Friday Columbia said in a statement that Adele would have surgery to fix the problem. Though she is expected to make a full recovery, the label said that “doctors have ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule any work commitments.” Ticket-holders for the canceled concerts — six shows in Britain — will receive refunds, the statement said.

We hope she gets it together. We need that voice in our lives because she has infinite jams. Sometiiiiiimes it lassssssts in loooooove and sometimes it hurrrrrts insteaaaaad…
