Don’t forget to hit up the ballot box today.
While many people tend to only focus on the presidential elections, today is a major day that you shouldn’t overlook. Eight of the country’s largest cities, including Houston, Phoenix and San Francisco are picking mayors while Mississippi has a chance to elect its first Black governor since Reconstruction.
Mississippi is also having a vote on Proposition 26 which would outlaw abortions. In Ohio, a major proposition is taking place that would limit union power if passed. This is also the last series of votes in the country that will take place before 2012 and the presidential race gets ratcheted up. So, go out and make a difference! Everyone should vote, but those in Mississippi and Ohio should especially vote to make a difference.
What are you waiting for? Go!
