Set The Mood: 10 Rap Albums To Get Laid To
People look at hip-hop as music solely for the hood or strip clubs. But people want to get their freak on sometimes while rappers get jiggy in the background.
From Drizzy to Yeezy, there are tons of albums by rappers that set the mood for some love-making. Just don’t mumble the lyrics while pumping and sweating. That kind of ruins the mood and your breath probably smells like tequila anyway.
The Love Below – The album has “love” in it! You can’t go wrong. Andre 3000’s love album is full of sweet and intimate songs to set the mood. You can even play “Spread” if you want to just get down to it.
Thank Me Later – Drizzy Drake is the Lifetime movie of rappers. He speaks directly into a woman’s ovaries. It’s like his music is keyed into the frequency of a woman’s nethers. That’s why ladies love him. And Thank Me Later is full of soft ballads that would make Kenny G feel like a sissy. Suck it up, guys. Your lady loves it.
Take Care – Drake took things to another level with his Playtex-inspired follow-up album. There are more R&B songs than rap songs. It’s all “feelings emotions menstruation and butterflies”. Nothing sets a mood better than that.
BE – Play this Common album for your neo soul sistah and she’ll melt. This is good ambiance music for soul-connecting or doggystyle on a cerebral plane or whatever it is super-smart people do when linking with the all-father with incense floating in the background.
The Score – Yup, this is a rap album, but Lauryn Hill always equals a trip to Town Missionary. There’s something about hearing her voice that always sets the mood. And a chick rapping like that is absolute turn-on for guys.
Life After Death – Biggie’s album is full of songs about sex. Skip past some of the violent tracks and get to those nasty tracks. Ya’ll will be hanging from the ceiling by the end of the album.

Mr. Smith – Doin it and doin it and doin it welllll. Remember this LL Cool J song? This was during LL’s lip-licking moisture deficiency era. Want to get your mid-90s sex on? LL will make it happen for you.
As Nasty As They Wanna Be – If you’re down for some wild times in the bed, you better get with the 2 Live Crew. Just make sure you have enough Gatorade and fans blowing because things get hot and heavy when Uncle Luke is screaming out directions.
Hardcore – Here’s the trick. Play this album for your lady and she’ll start really trying to compete with the lyrics Lil Kim spits. Kim will have your partner stepping her game up in no time.
808’s And Heartbreaks – This is like a autotuned megamix that doesn’t have any rapping. But he has some smooth babymaking music for you to grind out to. #YeezyTaughtMe
