In case you didn’t catch it, Beyonce’s giddy little “Oh Baby” behind-the-scenes video has made it clear that she is not due in February as originally reported.
Of course, that announcement that she was six months pregnant on September 23rd has sparked more “she’s not really carrying her own Camel heir” talk, as well as speculations that Mr. and Mrs. Knowles-Carter are expecting their little bundle of joy around Christmas.
But what most media outlets reporting that assumption are missing is the fact that, contrary to what all your favorite movies and Phaedra Parks would have you believe, a full term pregnancy is 40 weeks, or 10 months, not 9.
In other words, if Beyonce carries that humpful through her full term, little baby Jayonce Dereona Brooklyn Knowles-Carter should be born in mid- to late January 2012. Now go ahead and front like you don’t care.
