Beyoncé’s sense of style comes from a source close to home – her mother Tina, who owned a hair salon and taught the young Beyoncé how to dress well and save money.
“She’d get us little jackets and we’d go to an art supply store and we’d get stones and glitter and we’d personalize a lot of our clothes,” Beyoncé, 27, said in an interview in the premiere issue of The New York Observer Style. “She taught me the importance of looking good and feeling good but also that beauty comes from within, because it fades.”
SMH at good ‘ole Tina embedding that bedazzled swag in her head early on. Perhaps that’s the reason why Solange’s ass is so confused sometimes. Poor thang.

Why are you so defensive when it comes to Beyonce? I read the post above and I don’t think anyone is saying she’s not a beautiful or talented woman. I think it’s just that it would be nice to have more variety. I would like to see more artist on bossip, male and female. Reading about Bey gluing glitter onto her clothes as a kid isn’t interesting enough for an entire post. We could have something new to read about the latest Bernie Mac film or even our newest president. You can write back fussing all you want, i’m just speaking my peace. I’m not a Beyonce hater, i’ve been a fan since DC4, however I still want more variety in the artist and actors I see on bossip, other blogs and magazine covers.
I like the first picture. The ones for seventeen magazine looks like an old woman playing dress up. I’m so glad I cancelled my BET and MTV. Now I can barely look at a blog without seeing her being so overexposed. I rather just listen to artists on the radio who don’t need videos and looks to make themselves sell. let’s be honest here, the only time Beyonce’s outfits look nice is when Cavalli or Versace dress her. She barely wears Dereon and when she does she’s usually on the worst dressed list.

She has accomplished her dream of becoming an R&B artist. She came from a bad environment and sure she is a little rough around the edges.
