I feel you boom boom. I grew up in the South and it doesn’t matter if you used the word in the 60s and 70s or 2008. The word is still a terrible word to us in America. There is a difference when you say ” Person of Color”, but to use it the way she did it’s defining a benchmark of racial division.

But in other Countries the word is used simply to define a person of more than once race. Who knows what she really meant. But who would take her seriously anyway, she’s a crackhead, pipe head, or whatever term is used for a druggie..

Lindsay Lohan grew up in a very conservative Catholic family on LONG ISLAND which is known to have several racist communities. The only white person I have EVER known to say the word “colored”, was my old coworker, and he was from Long Island.

Negro describes something dead. “Black” describes status, not skin color, and colored could be anything. I’m not Afro-American or African-American either.
