If you didn’t think public transportation was dangerous before, this may change your mind.
A routine fare-beating bust in midtown on New Year’s Day turned up two fully loaded illegal firearms — including an assault pistol packed with 34 bullets, cops said.
An on-duty police officer found the weapons after stopping Reggie Allen, 33, of Columbia, S.C., after he entered the A, C, E station at 42nd St. and Eighth Ave. around 5:25 p.m. without paying, cops said.
Allen — who has a “Me against the world” tattoo on his neck — had a loaded .45-caliber Smith and Wesson handgun tucked into his waistband, police said.
The officer then opened the man’s bag and discovered a loaded Intratec Luger Tec-9 gun with extra ammunition.
Allen was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a loaded firearm, criminal possession of a defaced weapon and criminal possession of an ammo clip.
SMH… What a dumb a$$! And just think, he would have gotten away with it if he would have paid them couple of dollars.
