Celebrities Congratulate Jay-Z And Beyonce On The Birth Of Their Daughter Blue Ivy Carter

As previously reported, Beyonce gave birth to a little girl yesterday afternoon at Lenox Hill hospital in New York. The Carters named their first born, the crown princess of Hip-Hop, R&B, and all things fresh, Blue Ivy Carter (and not Ivy Blue as we were all told, according to E! Online.) And Hov’s BFF Gwyneth confirmed this morning:

And of course, as people tend to do with all things concerning Beyonce and Jay-Z, people have started speculating on the meaning behind their daughter’s name. We know Blue is Jay-Z’s “favorite hue,” but is Ivy another shout out to the number “4,” which we know these two are obsessed with (As in, IV – the roman numeral 4)?

Adding to the illuminati talk, is that baby Blue was born on the 4th floor of Lenox Hill hospital, on January 7. 1 + 7 = 8… or 4 + 4. See how they worked that out?

So, how does Blue’s real life auntie Solo feel about the latest addition to Tina Knowles’ dynasty?
