Deputies arrested a man early Sunday after they said he broke into his former girlfriend’s home, crawled into bed with her to cuddle before attempting to remove her undergarments, Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Roland Chacon said.
At about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, police said they got a call about a woman who was at home sleeping when her former boyfriend cut through her screen window and pushed open her bedroom window, Chacon said.The man was drunk, police said, when he crawled into bed with her and tried to remove her undergarments. The woman was able to get away calmly and called police, Chacon said. The man was still at the home when deputies arrived. Officials identified the man as Augustin Sanchez, who was arrested on suspicion of burglary and sexual assault.
