Lil’ Wayne performed at the Country Music Awards in Nashville. Can you imagine the shock and horror on those white peoples’ faces when they announced there was a special guest, and it was a real live negro? Some people probably demanded their money back.

Yeah Oshie my fav rappers would prob be booed down in this venue but Dead Prez is at the top of my list, Little Brother as far as whats hot now is at the top, Nicolay(UK producer) who did foreign exchange with lil brother is another one of my favorite rap producers even though he isn’t a rapper. If you want to talk popular commercial artist even though they have come out the lime light MOBB DEEP i have MUCH MUCH love for, they be on they shyt they are true to self and GHOST FACE can do NO WRONG in my book, I dont skip ANY songs on his album, OUTLAWZ is at the top of my list too. RZA was very nice, they all signed my posters and said very nice things. I love em’!!!!!

I just wanted to say that black people do exist in the land of country music: Nashville. And I’m one of them.
I live in Louisiana now, but Nashville is a wonderful metropolis with a mix of people of all races.
And, Nashville isn’t just about country music. Blues, Christian/Gospel and Rock and some Pop are also VERY big there.
It’s a wonderful place. Lots of black colleges and lots of culture. Not just for white, country music-loving people.

Why is that lil’ nicca always acting like he’s playing a guitar? How many people have you seen actually play an electric guitar with their thumb? I understand he’s trying to appeal to a m***** crowd, but if he’s going to fake like he’s playing he should at least make it somewhat believable.
Okay back to the TOPIC AT HAND….I can’t help it, I like country music. I actually watched the CMA’s (and I’m Black..) without knowing that Lil Wayne was gonna be on. I liked that Kid Rock song so I just so happened to catch his performance…..and was like, is that my favorite little martian playing guitar with good old boy Bob (Kid Rock’s first name)? Aww…..woo woo woo.
The funny thing is, they got the LONGEST standing ovation of the night….them country cracka-a**-crackas love them some Lil’ Wayne now!! just imagine “Lollipop” to a country beat…YEEEEEEEEHA!

I don’t know if you heard but we have a black president-elect. We have people all over this nation that don’t see colour as a defining or discriminating factor.
