I remember in her first or second America’s Next Top Model show, one black and one white woman had made it to the finals. One of the judges, a white dude, still on the show, said that they had to pick the person who was ‘most marketable’. He elaborated by saying that the person had to appeal to a wider audience.
Now they had those ladies doing all kinds of fool things to get to the finals, but it was all for naught. That man knew it would not have mattered how well one of the ladies had performed, because his mind was made up from the get go and Tyra did not say SQUAT! That is when I began to dislike her.
