Hollyweird better recognize!
Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer (who just picked up a Golden Globe last weekend) are both featured in W magazine‘s movie issue. The February 2012 edition showcases the best performances from the movies of 2011 and both women were recognized for their brilliant work in The Help. It’s definitely a good look for the actresses, who are featured alongside A-List talent including George Clooney, Charlize Theron and Brad Pitt.
Here’s what Viola had to say in the feature:
“No matter what, people don’t think of me for glamorous parts. I’ll go to an audition or a meeting in a pretty dress, and they still think of me as depressed or embattled. Hopefully, that will change.”
