A Cure for AIDS???

There has been a breakthrough in the fight against the Aids epidemic according to Livesteez:
Tennesse-based radio station, WGNS Talk Radio, is reporting that doctors in Berlin, Germany may have found a cure for AIDS.
In what could be the most significant breakthrough in the treatment of AIDS, doctors in Berlin, Germany said that they successfully cured a 42-year-old American man of the deadly disease with a targeted bone marrow transplant. According to Dr. Gero Huetter, this procedure is normally used to treat leukemia patients.
Huetter said the unidentified American had contracted AIDS over a decade ago and underwent a transplant of a genetically selected bone marrow, at a press conference yesterday, according to WGNSRadio.com.
Twenty months after the surgery, the virus appears to have left his body. There have been nothing but clean tests on his bone marrow, blood and organ tissues.
Whether this is an isolated incident or not, success, even if only marginal, sometimes is all the momentum needed to reach a final goal. Let’s pray that, at the very least, this is the catalyst to finally finding a cure.

yep…this is real good news….they say that it has something to do with ccr5 receptors in a persons body but the receptors are found mostly in white folks body instead of african americans but anyway…when they did this dudes transplant they got bone marrow from a person who has these ccr5 receptors in their body already and when it was placed in this guys body during the transplant the ccr5 eradicated the hiv …..i am positive been positive for over 12 years..no meds at all except for during my second preganacy…(which the baby is negative)…i know first hand that hiv affect people differently and it has alot to do with an individuals bosy and what type of genes and what not they have thats allowing them(me) to be able to live freely with no medication and not ever get sick….thanks you Jesus….get educated folks because it not a free p***** to have unprotected sex….everybody reacts to HIV differently and some people do still get infected and in 6 mos they are dead…HIV is alive and well and it does not discriminate…please be safe and never think it cannot happen to you…peace..1 love

You can research many claims of people finding the cure to AIDS with do*****ented evidence. But different goverments call it a hoax or just crazy village people. I dont know if you were trying to be a smart *****. But I’m just saying you can look it up for yourself. Apparently there’s more to finding a cure than just helping sick people.
How do you explain a man contracting AIDS, having it do*****ented he has it. Then after some kind of treatment he no longer has it… at all. Straight up negative. Since the FDA wont approve whatever his treatment was, no one knows about it, and it cant be m***** produced for people.

I remember a do*****entary on an African doctor who naturally found a cure for AIDS and cancer, but scientist ruled it out. They didnt have any valid excuse for not accepting this mans data and research. They just tried to dirty up his name to make him look bad, but no once did they prove him wrong…. and it never went any further than that.

that does NOT mean this man is completely free of the AIDS virus, it could just mean that it is supressed so low that tests are not picking up on it which isnt uncommon in new reciepents of bone marrow. this same man could contract a viral infection that could make the tests show positive due to the inability to fight infection w/ his T cells. i think spreading this story and seeming as if AIDS has been cured is highly irresponsible and any journalist doing so should proceed with extreme caution. if simply swapping out bone marrow were the cure to diseases the survival rate of cancer patients would be greatly boosted

So I read alot, research alot. I’ve found that most ***** you need to know is not very available for you to see. Everything is not a plot but more than I think you realize. Katrina maybe was not a plot. The government’s lack of response was expected (they put relief materials on a BOAT?!!…..what no PLANES?!!) and while maybe not a plot (so to speak), it was systematic. We are ruled (control of m*****es) by a philosophy of change by conflict. Control the conflict (both sides) and control the change. Divide and conquer on a whole other level. The CIA does it all the time. Go to a foreign country and spark civil unrest (using propoganda) which leads to civil war. Supply and fund one side and openly support the other. Once the locals have reached the point of self destruction in swoops the USA to the rescue. “We’ll help because we care!” (and we want all your national resources which we’ll help ourselves to as well as a stranglehold of your economic system). Example: Iran Contra Scandal. Its deeper than what you want to believe but you would have to be willing to wipe your slate clean and forget everything that you have been LEAD to believe. Your choice. You seem to be intelligent so I’m sure you will come to whatever conclusion that seems rational to you. Me, I see too much evidence of conspiracy. I don’t see too much theory.

Good post..Speaking of children, I spoke with a woman in the grocery store the other day, who worked in the school system, and she was telling me the govt has people who go in elementary schools to gather statistical information on grades etc, to gather logistics on how many jails the government will need to build in the future…Now this is NOT confirmed at all, NOT A FACT, but just an appauling thought…SMH

For me, it stems from instinct. No matter how pretty a picture is painted by the media, if one thing sounds fishy you better check the whole thing out. It’s like proof reading a story at a newspaper, it goes thru several hands before it reaches final print. I let myself be the final “checker”
If something inside questions it, I wanna know the real deal. Especially when it comes to black people, we have been used, tested on and mistreated too many different ways to name (see syphillis studies).

Thank God they found a cure finally, or at least that they are finally coming out with it. This is grounds for celebration, especially for those in Africa who are so heavily plagued with this awful disease.

Abbott school systems are a joke (I don’t know if that was a school in one of our communities you were speaking of). I had to pull my daughter out of public school and flip the bill for private. They stopped emphasizing math and science, the only real universal subjects taught. Reading is taught using sight words as opposed to phonetically (the correct way, remember hooked on phonics?….where’d that go?). They are teaching “new math” (??????). Damn, did numbers all of a sudden take on new values? Of course, at my daughter’s new school they don’t teach math or reading that way at all. Some things remain the same and require constant intervention on my part (HIStory cl***** is still a trivia cl*****- names and dates with no cause and effect) but none of the dummying down tactics they are using in OUR schools. I attended board of education meetings to question why this new curriculum was being implemented JUST in Black communities and why did we have to accept it. I was told that it wasn’t the correct forum to discuss such matters………HUH??????

I never took you as closed minded simply because you do engage with legit questions. Humor yourself sometime and go to the conspiracy / speculation section of the bookstore sometimes or let your mouse do the walking and left click on something that could be of interest……you may be surprised. Stop looking at the news (media period) as anything more than what it is. Question for you: Do you know who came up with the first newspaper and why?

This type of surgery has been done twice before with an HIV/AIDS patient and the virus had disappeared. I just hope that doesn’t make people feel invicible and start doing more nasty $hit to themselves to create an even stronger disease.

I’ve heard of cures that already exist for AIDS/HIV and cancer. These pharmaceutical companies (GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck & Co., etc.), the American Cancer Society, and International HIV/AIDS will no longer be of use to benefit from patients with terminal diseases, and that makes their obligations of no importance. It’s all about enormous profits for some, and NOT the morbid people. IMO. That’s why I have a major problem with these companies.
The physicist from the article wrote and I observed the charts, ‘The winter solstice, 21st December 2012, we will see our solar system come into perfect synchronous alignment with the galactic equator of the Milky Way.’ Correct me if I’m not accurate, but isn’t this solution apart of the Agenda 21, Kyoto, and Codex Alimentarius, which is set to occur prior to 2012?

Great news, but it will never make it to the US. If America gets the cure, then that would mean the scientist who make millions off of selling the medicine would be out of a job. So no we won’t get it. But being honest, i think there is a cure for everything. Besides, where did one man get aids/and or hiv from?
okay people just so you know that this is not something new there has always been 14% of the Anglo-European population that has this mutation. Which is why some people feel hiv was a manufactured virus to kill off non-anglos. hiv is a viral relative to the bubonic plague which why some whites can be be exposed to the virus and not become infected. The CCr5 receptor that they are talking about most believe is natures way of protecting those with ancestors who some how fought of the infection of the bubonic plague directly. The people whose body adopted the receptor and therefore where able to disable the hiv virus were all white. As of today their is no public record of a black person being cured of HIV. Which only makes me a little cynical as to how a strain of a european virus somehow managed to appear in some monkeys in africa and not some pigeon in london.

AFRICA doesnt have half the AIDS cases we are being told about, most of the Africans are diagnosed DELIBRATELY wrong, when in fact these people are suffering with malnutrition, malaria and sickle cell and as their immune system is more than low and suffering as it is already, their blood cells mimic signs of HIV/AIDS, and then diagnosed wrong. They are then given all these AIDS medications that then distort and destroy their DNA/what is left of their immune system….still aren’t fed properly, still suffering with sickle cell and malaria and die as a resort of that.
The people in Africa aren’t dying of HIV/AIDS as we are told.

Yeah. I agree with Kai. There has always been a cure. From my understanding (when I was reading up on it awhile back) the cost was about 1.2 million dollars for the cure. And the company that found the cure was located in or near Germany as well. It is very costly……..sure that no medical benefits will cover this.

I’ve read about this yesterday on MSN Science News. They say that actually similar procudures have been done years back and a small amount of patients were cured. I’m just wondering how this new info is being handled by the U.S. When will this treatment be applied to all the other people in our country that has this disease? Or will this news be treated as all the other reports of progress battling the aids virus and just disappear from the public eye?

I am very happy that there could be a cure. But I I am hoping that ppl will still continue to use protection and to be honest with their partner. Plus I hope that ppl won’t take this for granted and go around transmitting the disease to others simply because they know that there is a cure.
