No they didn’t!!! Ever since the moment Cee-Lo arrived on the musical landscape as part of the outspoken ATL group Goodie Mob we’ve been drawn to his succulent vocals AND his powerful voice as an MC. Since then he has experienced major crossover success, but shouldn’t a Black magazine be showing him love and not hate? Just sayin’… Somebody was clearly tryin’ to stir up some bs to sell magazines.
To further complicate matters, JET used this old cheesy photograph of Cee-Lo rockin’ a t-shirt, even though our sources tell us the mag was provided with these exclusive images of the big guy lookin’ grown and glamorous:
Now that’s lookin’ more like a JET Beauty of the Week to us!
Fortunately, we hear that the Bonsu Thompson scribed profile turned out well. But really now, what’s good with this cover? Come to think of it, they kinda played Drizzy out on his cover too! Shame on JET Magazine for this isht!
