Bossip: Would you ever consider dating an athlete or would you say with your profession that is a little out of pocket?

Jemele: It is very unlikely. My credibility means everything to me, and unfortunately because of the profession, people assume that’s why you got into it. Even if I did it under an ethical circumstance, say I married a former athlete, retired, people will assume that is how I was able to advance in my career. The other side of it, I have some very good friends who are professional athletes, and I appreciate them dearly, but I guess seeing how the steak is made, that’s the best way I can put it, my self-esteem is just not high enough to date an athlete. I think a lot of them are great guys, just knowing the lifestyle, knowing what they have to tolerate, the personal space they are in it would just be very unlikely.
