OMG! I picked up Beyonce’s Deluxe edition of I Am…Sasha Fierce…and it is so damn good. I can’t even pick a favorite. Its very different from the other two albums, and you can definitely tell she’s maturing. Go Bey..Buy the Album

I was little sad to hear it. It’s underwhelming at best. It shows lack of growth, I mean that “Diva” song. Was she serious? However it has it’s moments where she shines but not enough to keep my attention. Maybe 7 years I would have been rocking to it but as time grows, so should your taste and style of music. I have nothing against Beyonce. I think she has done very well with whatever talent she was blessed with. That being said, there are numerous people more talented than she. I can’t believe I am going to even comment on this, but here goes…
I am from Houston and I actually had the chance to meet her a few years ago…I DO NOT know her, but I have met her. She is NOT lacking a personality. She is NOT stuck up. She is a little shy…like Janet Jackson in her early career. No one ever called Janet out…how about us sisters take a note from Michelle Obama and be classy. We don’t have to love her, but at least respect her work ethic.
The album is whack…like Usher…Marriage has ruined another career…

I’ve downloaded the album for free of course and I have to admit that it’s much better than B’day.
Picking “if i were a boy” and “singles ladies” for the promo was a mistake. there are a lot of better song on the album. She recorded songs for everyone= pop,rnb,ballad,country pop,etc..
It could have been better but the music industry is on crisis it’s hard. I don’t think she will sell 1 millions 1st week but it’s not going to flop like her sister and she has her fanbase no matter what
how can ya’ll hate on her??! She seems sooo sweet and fun. Her work ethic is unparalleled! ok. real talk, I am a stan, but come on’ she definitely got something going for her..

I am not buying the album because I am not a beyonce fan..however, I have downloaded maybe a total of maybe 5 songs from her…and best believe HOV was on mostly all of them. Anyway what I wanted to say because I know I am sounded like a hater…even though I don’t like her song choices or material…her natural beauty is amazing; she looks great. Either way I wish her success; she works hard for her dough so I can’t be mad at that. But what did it for me was when she said ” she wanted to be an icon.” That is a comment you keep to yourself; you know personal goal. Its almost vain. No one should want to be iconic until you have paid your dues and contributed almost a life time of dedicated service (metaphorically- i am speaking the volume of your effect on something-like the civil rights movement) or have done something to shape a difference. Has she done that..ahhh the remains to be seen…has she smashed record sales, won countless awards etc..etc..yes..is it icon material not yet..
But that is just my opinion. She still needs “interview and speech skills”….

Make that money honey..enjoy the life…I know I would.

OMG…this album was so WACK. Bey could have came way harder. Only 2 songs caught my attention. B-day was a classic and then she wants to hit us over the head with this “alter-ego, writers block, bull shit”. I f*cks wit Bey, but she hurt my feelings with this album.
I havent purchased mines yet but i most def plan to get it today on my lunch break. although i am lil worried about getting it cuase her last cd was very disappointing to me but dangerously in love was the S#it i couldnt stop playing it i had to burn a copy for the car cause i got tired of transfering it from home to car. I am hoping that this one has that affect one me.. Dispite the comments i will have to check it out for myself. bey dont let me down!!

To those who don’t know B-Day is not her first album. Dangerously In Love is the 1st solo album and I still listen to it. I don’t know about this one, I agree with SexyQ it’s commercial. She can sing but it seems like someone else wrote these songs or maybe she’s tired of doing music. I don’t know…Still a fan though.

whoaaaa…why does she have to lie about stupid ishhhh? In the interview, she says that they did the single ladies video in “one long take”…ok this is a pure lie! If you watch the video, you can tell that they had to switch angles and do cuts – e.g. when the other dancers legs cover beyonce and then she reappears – she is in a different position – maybe cuz the other one was less flattering. im only bringing this up cuz some other blog brought my attention to it but i didnt think she was gonna go and just straight up lie bout that ish!!!??? just ridiculous
