  6. All 'Bout Bama

Obama is the man. So confident, strong, vibrant, smart, poised, on it and for it. I can’t express how happy I am that this happened. All of the black male babies growing up now will know nothing except the most powerful man in the world, “not only the United States”, will look like his uncle. This is huge.

  7. jonjon23

Obama will do the same thing Bush did, because they have the same agenda. They want a one world government. Research a New World Order and what many powerful figures past and present have said about this; Hillary and Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Henry Kissinger, Ronald Reagan, ect. ect. They ultimately want the whole world run by a few people and to erase the Constitution. We will basically by in a dictatorship. Also study the Council of Foreign Relations on which Obama is a member.

  8. MsIndy

Oh & to that jon person you should really let that conspiracy theory BS go man it’s pointless!! People have been screaming about a NWO for the last 30 years & not a single 1 of their predictions have come to fruition! Move 2 Canada or Mexico if U feel that strongly about it! Otherwise do us all a favor & Shut The Hell Up!!*Gesh*

  15. Nicky

  16. ThatBKChick

@jonjon23,,,,,this is the same bullish that they said would cost us the election, the Machurian Candidate and Bradley Effect garbage. This is the same dichotomy/thinking that ruins black folk!!! STFU and fall back with the rest of the hot damned nay sayers that said he couldn’t be in in to win it!

If this man runs this country like he ran his election, chasing out old coons (black naysayers), Bubba and the likes of hillbilly trash who said he couldn’t , Hillary and the old white azz establishment that has suppressed us for years….THERE AIN’T A HOT DAMNED THING THAT WILL STOP THIS MAN FROM LIVING UP TO HIS EVERY WORD AND PROMISE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND THE WORLD!

  17. Film

    jonjon23

Continue to acquire cognizance and educate your mind about the NWO. George W. Bush said on national TV that we must have a NWO (I forget the exact date). And, if I recall, Lou Dobbs is the only reporter that has had the courage to speak about the North American Union, and it’s elimination of sovereignty creating the amero. You can’t expect SOME who suffer from severe cases of a destitute of knowledge to be able to comprehend and fathom what elitist groups (Tri, Cult of Rome, CFR, P5) are and how they control political science. You see, libraries don’t sale books that discuss these topics written in crayons and that consist of pictures on every other page.

*Even if you’re finish with school, we are still students and we should never desist learning.

  18. Pynk (KICK ROCKS WITH THE KICKS YOU ROCK)

He looks perfect in the position, sitting at the desk with the American flag behind him.

  26. Kizz My Azz

For all of you who did not vote for Obama or critcize the man before he is actually in office…Let’s see how you feel when in the coming years, your paychecks grow, or you get better jobs, that allow you to not just have a job but a career, your children are better educated and you actually have a savings and live in a cleaner environment. What will you say then? Nothing because President Obama wants EVERYONE to prosper….It’s okay doubters he is your President too…

  27. WTF ! How is Barack supposed to help you ? wake up people, the government owes you nothing but whats written on the constitution. All this BS on how the new administration is going to change everything on Jan 20th is laughable ! The democrats are just politicians like the republicans. You can only take care of yourself.Get an education, get and keep a job and please dont buy an iPhone while your kids arent fed yet ! and also keep a good credit score.

Waiting for the govt to solve your problems is tiresome as you will wait for a loooooooooooong time.

  28. SELENA

All I can say is that I hope there will be jobs in the future but I would prefer the jobs to be private and not government. The reason why I say this is because government jobs will require increases in tax payer spending to pay for those jobs. Private jobs on the other hand our paid by consumers who buy their goods/services.

  29. SELENA

I am a little confused at how Obama administration is going to create this jobs. Will they be government jobs (jobs paid by the taxpayers) or private jobs (jobs paid by the consumer). If they are private jobs then that would be good but it appears that these jobs are government which means that we would have to pay for them.

  30. dubya

Okay, let’s get a few things straight:

    1. As a citizen of this country I have the right to question policies put before me. That does not mean that I am a hater, it means I am a critical thinker and it means that I care enough to hold Obama accountable for what he says he is going to do. I mean, what is education for? Is it to sit back and not question? Is it something you get, hang over your fire place and never revisit it? I don’t understand the mentality of some of you. As if it is wrong to question Obama.

    2. Unemployment is more complex than “not having a job” employment is only at its highest potential when there is a match up between skills and jobs offered. 2.5 million of what kinds of jobs? Some people who are unemployed are Harvard MBA’s, computer geeks, cooks, train conductors, disabled. These skills will most likely be more useful in the private sector, as Selena mentioned earlier.

    3. Obama is not going to make my paycheck grow! I think that responsibility rests with me. Just like he is not going to magically turn this mess around. He can and does inspire confidence, but the hard work comes from you and I.

Sidenote: I agree with you Selena. These government jobs come from increasing taxes. It is being reported that Obama’s job creation will cost 300 billion to be exact.

Again, where is this money going to come from?

  31. SELENA

    Good point, dubya.

  32. Darealest

WELL I HOPE I CAN GET ME A DECENT JOB CUZ BEEN LOOKN FOR A WHILE!

  33. Redd Tony aka Earth Sign "If everyone is thinking alike, *****ody is really thinking"

Im going to take an educated guess and say the bulk of the jobs created will be in Homeland Security, aimed at civil eavesdropping and buracracy laced in red tape. If you really want to boost the economy you’d focus on promoting small businesses and increase skill training. Our country’s GDP (Gross Domestic Product) would increase little by little and apply funds to the National Debt of over $10,000,000,000,000—yeah TRILLION, we got a heck of a long way…

Oh yeah, you wanna know where the $700 Billion bail out money is going? YouTube Karl Denninger and click on “Stop the bailout” and check out where this money is really going, if you care, it would be appauling to you.

  34. dismymoney

I don’t care if you can see him “reading” his speech. HE GOT ME!!

  35. Redd Tony aka Earth Sign "If everyone is thinking alike, *****ody is really thinking"

Also these jobs are going towards building the infrastructure of the NAU (North American Union)…

  36. Jane Doe

If they can find money to bailout those greedy banks… im sure they’ll find money to create new jobs.

  37. dismymoney

And yes, I do realize that taxes (or better yet, fees) will be raised to deal with this *****. Just because Obama is in office does not mean that he is SweetDaddy Uncle Fatttsacks and will send a pretty check to each and every one American. We, the American people, are gonna have to become our brothers/sisters keeper, even though we don’t like anyone, even our own relatives, in our wallets.

  38. BE

Got to love a man with a GOOD plan!

Here are some excerpts about what he direction he may go:

Obama said he intended to put people back to work rebuilding roads and bridges, modernizing schools, building wind farms, solar panels and fuel-efficient cars.

He also plans to develop alternative energy technologies that he says can free the United States from its dependence on foreign oil and keep the US economy competitive in the years ahead.

“These aren’t just steps to pull ourselves out of this immediate crisis,” he said. “These are the long-term investments in our economic future that have been ignored for far too long.”

Obama said his economic recovery plan represented “an early downpayment” on the type of reform his administration will bring to Washington.

  39. HOPE-IUM is a very strong drug people ! Black folks are screwed mostly because of illegal immigration. The illegal aliens came and took all the entry level and service jobs.We used to be the major minority block but we are loosing that to the latinos very fast.Another thing people dont want to talk aboutis abortion that has killed millions of black kids since the 70s.

Black folks wake up and challenge yourself.Barack can only inspire you but after a while the inspiration has to come from within yourself.

  44. DEJA

These are all good plans, and I think they should also p***** mandates that give tax credits to big business (no they dont need it but nothing motivates big businss. like $$) for keeping jobs in the US. I mean they are hundreds of thousaunds of jobs that are being shipped overseas to keep the overhead low because the cost to employ skilled american labor is cutting into the bottom line a little too much for CEOS and other exec. management. I’ve had several friends whose jobs left the US or moved to other cities where they were given generous tax shelters. And regardless of if they want to or not, a bail out of the BiG 3 is necessary. Punishing the working man because the CEO’s of these companies *****ed up is unfair to the american people. The same american people funding this bailout. The least we should get to do is keep our jobs behind it. No one gave the financial insitutes this much ***** when they put their hands out for bailout money. It’s time to repair America and stop playing the blame game. We *****ed up. People living above their means, crazy borderline illegal financing for loans, etc .. my only fear is the bail out for the BIG 3 not happening and our economy spiraling even deeper down the drain. America has become too reliant on other countries for everything. We need to build some self reliance and establish ourselves as a leader again. America has become like a little national boutique with foreign countries buying bits and pieces of her each day. I hope Pres Elect Obama will make good on his promises. Our success as a nation is depending on it.

  45. reggie reg

this dude is FULL of *****. goverment jobs cretes by higher taxes, is BULL*****.

  46. luvgossip

Okay, Bossip, looks like ya’ll regained your senses after calling Obama out on the validity of his “Change” message because he wants Clinton as Sec. of State. Keep your minds right, please, and leave that criticism noise to the likes of Fox News and Limbaugh — at least until after Jan. 20.

  47. luvgossip

Sorry. To clarify, don’t take Obama to task for his cabinet picks before he takes office. If he messes up after Jan. 20, then call him out. But let him get his team lined up. Once again, backing away from my keyboard LOL.

  48. memchee

I think his plan is realistic.

As long as taxpayers will be reimbursed for these bailouts, there’s a chance by 2011 there will be enough $$$ to stimulate the economy by creating jobs rather than giving tax breaks to the rich.

  49. Kina

reggie reg is a hating jack*****.Dam! the antichrist step children always talking *****. nothing positive. SHUT THE ***** UP! OBAMA ‘08

read this nonsense fr. WHITE AMERICA (SMDH):

Obama’s Use of Complete Sentences Stirs Controversy

Stunning Break with Last Eight Years

In the first two weeks since the election, President-elect Barack Obama has broken with a tradition established over the past eight years through his controversial use of complete sentences, political observers say.

Millions of Americans who watched Mr. Obama’s appearance on CBS’ “Sixty Minutes” on Sunday witnessed the president-elect’ s unorthodox verbal tick, which had Mr. Obama employing grammatically correct sentences virtually every time he opened his mouth.

But Mr. Obama’s decision to use complete sentences in his public *****ouncements carries with it certain risks, since after the last eight years many Americans may find his odd speaking style jarring.

According to presidential historian Davis Logsdon of the University of Minnesota, some Americans might find it “alienating” to have a President who speaks English as if it were his first language.

“Every time Obama opens his mouth, his subjects and verbs are in agreement,” says Mr. Logsdon. “If he keeps it up, he is running the risk of sounding like an elitist.”

The historian said that if Mr. Obama insists on using complete sentences in his speeches, the public may find itself saying, “Okay, subject, predicate, subject predicate – we get it, stop showing off.”

The President-elect’ s stubborn insistence on using complete sentences has already attracted a rebuke from one of his harshest critics, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska.

“Talking with complete sentences there and also too talking in a way that ordinary Americans like Joe the Plumber and Tito the Builder can’t really do there, I think needing to do that isn’t tapping into what Americans are needing also,” she said.
