However, the smart east coast artist like Jim Jones, Fat Joe, and Juelz Santana and various other east coast and midwest artist have all incorporated Down South producers and cameos from Down South artist, in order to sell records. It’s not about selling out, its about being smart and making that paper. Most hip hop artist make their paper by touring, and there are only a few who are famous enough to tour overseas, such as Kanye, 50 and Jay-Z. In order to remain relevant and sell out shows in places like Germany, Australia, France and even the Czech Republic, artist have to be ahead of the game on some third rail sh**t!! If you have never been outside the confines of the United States, then you will never understand. Open your minds and broaden your horizons, because there is a new movement going on that is defining blackness, and it does not include addressing our sisters and brothers in the lime light as n*$ga. This car is built from the ground up Daywalker. It did come with the 350, but we removed it and replaced it with a 427. No nitrous added, it still runs in the 10.4-10.6 range consistently.

The 427 in my opinion, was one of the best engines Chevy ever made. I currently have a 69 Goat which came with a 455 big block which I swapped out for the 572 big block crate motor. I usually run mid to low 8s, but I do better on my bike, though.

Actually, the 455 big block came in Pontiacs. The 572 big block makes about 780 horses. I have a GTO, but my dad has a 1969 Dodge Charger “RT” Now that thing is a beast on wheels! He’s probably the only person who will beat me on a good day! Either I kick his ***** or he beats me, but it’s always close though. (Unless I bring my Bike to the track!) Then, I’ll mop his *****!

What gears are you running Daywalker?
I’m not exactly sure, but the tranny is the 4L80E transmission that can be used with the Chevy 572 cubic inch motor, because both have 7 bell housing bolts. The stock frame has been replaced with a cage/rollbar setup of my own design. I was using Holley carbs, but I decided to go with the Race Demon set up I saw offered for my application on the track. Trust me, I run 8s all day unless it’s on a hot day.
