Lamar Odom Says That Things Are Getting Better In His Life

Khloe Kardashian’s husband Lamar Odom has had a tough year, but he’s looking on the bright side of things.

The reality show stars have seen their marriage pushed to the edge this year with Lamar’s unceremonious trade from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, and almost as soon as they packed up and moved, he and the new team mutually decided to part ways.

However, Lamar isn’t letting his career pitfalls affect his positive outlook on life, and at the opening of his sister-in-law Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy Scott Disick’s restaurant RYU opening in NYC Monday night, he said things were going well.

“I woke up this morning so that’s good,” he told Tom Murro at the opening. “Every day you wake up is a good day.”

While his other sister-in-law Kim Kardashian was busy getting frisky with her new boyfriend Kanye West, Lamar was zen-like about his career.

“It has its ups and downs,” he said.

Get it together Lammy, some NBA team will need you next season.
