Amazing a brillant athlete. Desiree Rogers is no joke. I’m a native Chicagoan and watched her career with interest during the 90′s when she was married to John Rogers. She is certainly a go-getter and very dynamic. A great pick. Kudos to Barack Obama for this selection!

Summers served as treasury secretary in the Clinton administration. He was the chief economist of the World Bank from 1991 through 1993. Prior to his career in government, Summers taught economics at Harvard.

University of California-Berkeley economics professor Christina Romer has been chosen to be the chair of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers.

She’s a BIG deal on the social scenes in Chicago, and since she’s so tight with the Obamas, this really doesn’t come as a surprise!
